We are a family of 2 with 1 kids and chose to go to Lonavla with Della Resort.This is our first time to this resort and Lonavla and we were awestruck by the service provided in this resort. Right from the welcome during heavy rains with staff well prepared with necessary things.
The staff at the restaurant were very polite and kid friendly and service was very quick. We had delicious food in Creme Della. Special Thanks to Ms. Rina she had provided us unexpected service and she has very good suggestion skills, If you confused what to eat then you can take her suggestion.
If you are a family with kids and want to enjoy the food, and service, then Della Resort should stand as your NO 1 CHOICE
Good chef and happy customer ... I was very happy to learn the steps of making tandoori chai and more than happy to taste it. Bun muska was add on. It's beautiful place with vibrant lights.
We wanted to go to creme della the restaurant for dinner. We were asked at the reception of their resort area to pay a Rs750 cover per person for creme della which we paid. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the restaurant.
When we reached there, there was a corporate dinner in one of the two inside sections. The other inside section was full, there was a 15-20 minute wait time and the interiors of that section were not great. Because of this, we decided to leave from there and go to their other restaurant called cafe24.
When we went back to the reception to tell them that we wanted to go to their other restaurant, they said that they will not be able to adjust this credit of Rs4500 that we had paid in their other restaurant! So we asked them to give us a refund instead. But they even refused that! They just were not ready to budge and said that they cannot do anything for this. Finally then we went to villa Bistro which is a part of their resort area although we did not want to go there.
This system of having to take cover charge coupons way before you see the restaurant which is not nearby, before seeing the menu and table availability is flawed. Also, not adjusting the credit against one of their other restaurants or giving a refund is pathetic and not flexible at all. Hope the management changes this as the staff too is helpless and says that they cannot do anything as these are management rules.
Very disappointing experience all in all.
