Courtyard Marriott conveniently located 6km from the airport and unlike most cities in India, it is easy to get around in Vadodara. The hotel staff is very friendly and courteous and ready to go extra mile. They could make surely make some improvements to their breakfast spread but otherwise I highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful stay

I recently visited courtyard for dinner with my family and friends and I was disappointed. I ate the vegetarian menu in the buffet and the food was below par. I literally had to think of what to eat because the entire menu was just not upto the mark. I paid 1500 per person with taxes and it was so not worth it. I highly recommend them to pay attention to the taste and the price they charge is so much. Really really disappointed.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at 812CE Urban Restaurant in Courtyard Marriott. Anshul, our server, was incredibly polite, courteous, and quick on his feet. His menu knowledge was impressive, making our dining experience amazing!

I am an American, traveling to India for my second time. This hotel has all the comforts and amenities of a very well run hotel that you would expect in the US and more. Staff are hugely friendly and accommodating. Frankly, way better than we otherwise experience in the US. The rooms are absolutely the same as a nice US hotel. Comfortable beds, walk-in shower, TV, ironing, board, everything. The restaurant on the second floor is a major plus. Buffet breakfast in the morning as well as a very affordable dinner buffet in the evening. Mostly Indian food. Don't be afraid. Try it. It's really good. They also have dishes that would be more comfortable for Western travelers - burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta etc.

I was there to attend company organized meetings. This is whole day program of three days. Seating chairs given are not well designed so it is difficult to seat on given chairs for whole day. Food is not good.

It's one of the best (if not the best) hotel in Baroda. Good facilities (probably because it's newer), and the staff are really friendly. Room service menu is almost the same as the a la cart menu at the 2nd floor restaurant. Food was good, same as the service, though it seems the restaurant is a little under-staffed, e.g., your order might get missed during the peak hour. Hotel is near to a (relatively) big mall - Inorbit mall. It's near to the main road too. Overall, it's a safe and convenient hotel that you can stay for a business trip.

It was a horrible experience at Courtyard by Marriot, Vadodara on 17th of October 2023. Me and my husband went to visit the Statue of Unity that day and were to return to Vadodara at 10 pm in the evening. We called the hotel to inform about the same at 6.45 pm. The hotel assured us that everything was fine and nothing to worry. But when we reached at 10 pm, they checked us into a deluxe room (5000 rs) without informing anything (We booked a junior suite three months prior by paying 15000 rs). When we entered the room, we were surprised to find out it wasn't a suite, rather a simple deluxe room. We called the reception to find out why our room was downgraded. The guy told us it was a technical glitch. Then he told us that there is actually no difference between the two rooms and they are full and he couldn't do anything. Then the manager came and told us that some other person has checked into our room (because Marriot hotel has a policy that a Marroiot member can check into any room they want even if that room is booked by someone else earlier). Then the manager tried to gave us free breakfast or dinner as bribe (around 2000 rs) to compensate for their wrongdoing). We denied and checked out of Marriot at 11.30 pm at Night and checked into Hyatt Place, Vadodara. We informed Goibibo about the incident and asked for a refund. We were informed by Goibibo that we can get the refund only after the hotel sends an email regarding the same. Twenty four hours have passed since the unpleasant incident and "Courtyard by Marriot, Vadodara" is yet to send an email regarding the same to Goibibo, let alone an apology to us. I am giving one star to Courtyard by Marriot, Vadodara because I can't give zero stars !!
