We went here for lunch. We ordered their famous Gun chicken, pichipotta chicken, parotta and biriyani. The Gun chicken was very flavourful and a burst of taste! Really enjoyed their parotta and kurma! Pichipotta kozhi was also very peppery and delicious!Nattu kozhi Biriyani was okish..because I think there are better biriyani's out there...other wise a very good service and food experience. Must try their parotta , Gun chicken and other items.

The biriyani is not up to the standards but the parotta and other dishes are good. Must try pichi pota chicken

The food was ok. The biryani by itself was too much in spice. However the gravy was nice and balanced it. Both nattu kozhi and prawn biryani tasted the same with the exception of the meat. The nattu kozhi fry was good. The price was little on the higher side compared to the quantity and taste. Could be better

One of the best restaurants to have side variety of porottas. We had Border porotta, puffs porotta, porotta stuffed with chicken inside. All were good. Nattukozhi pichi pottath, mutton curry were also equally good. Must visit and recommended. Staffs were friendly. Easily accessible. The place is bit small but the taste and portion size makes up for it.

Recent favourite is this restaurant. People who wish to have Chennai Style Basmati Mutton Biryani , may conside their biryani. I would rate 8/10 for biryani, there were sufficient mutton pieces. Parotta is soft and crispy and it's all time favourite. Slightly expensive than similar range restaurants.

Went to this place after seeing reviews expecting some good Paratha and biryani. But sadly biryani is over and tasted idiyappam egg kothu Paratha which was very good with gravy, veg curry and dal. Border paratha with chicken gravy and natu kozhi chops is also tasted good as per my friend's experience. Im not eating non veg for few days, so not tried any other. Lemon soda is available and tasted like Sprite Overall we paid 476 Rs for two persons food.

Very worst experience with your staffs and food quality. Biryani serving in chill conditions ask your billing counter person he told upstairs service is this only this is way of service your hotel follows is this not a good sign .

If you have already ate at Sengottai border kadai then you will love this shop, even if not you'll still like the taste.. We has salna parotta, gun chicken, chicken chops gravy, masala chicken fry, normal parotta... all items are good.. felt nostalgic about the sengottai shop.. there is an air-conditioned space available for dining.. you also have briyani and other non veg dishes.. the in charge is friendly and provided suggestions to select dishes.. they also offered Rs. 75 as discount on account of 75th Independence Day celebrations..
