Country Club De Goa - Resort hotel in Anjuna - North Goa, India

We went to property.There was lot of construction going on.we enquired from security personnel,he told that property has been sold out to some other company This was country club only resort in Goa

It's a decent property with all basic amenities available in-house. They also have a kitchen which serves food in their restaurant/dining area. The food here is a bit expensive though. They have a good swimming pool with an earmarked area for small kids. It was fun spending time in the pool. The rooms are big and almost like a studio apartment. They have hot and cold water through the day, with shower available in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, the remote control for the AC in my room was missing, but we managed to still use it. The best part is that the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a good experience during our stay here.

I stayed in this place for 4 times. This resort used be very nice. But now I feel it's standards have come down. Previously they had mini fridge, microwave, pantry in the rooms but now they are no more. Gym is converted into room. Restaurant is not operating in its place.Pool also is not well maintained. But one thing good about this place it's greenery and the area it is located. .

I just finished my trip to Goa and stayed 3 nights in this Club. As am holding the membership so no other option. Based on the review i though just have a try and check. Location looks old but neat and clean. Swimming-pool is okay, Restaurant is good, Rooms are okay with AC. Overall i can say am satisfied. don't visit with High expectations, this stay is below 3 star.

Sold out to someone else. I had booking confirmation plus food vouchers. They didn't even bother to inform me that the property has been sold out. Waited the whole day outside the gate with 2 kids. Finally in the evening managed on my own. Country Club third class service

Property location and space is very nice, but country club need to improve the maintenance of the property. Property is not like a resort. It is like Dharamshala. Breakfast was good and would recommend to members to stay in this property if you will remain out for the whole day and just looking for a property to stay in Night.

The property definitely needs maintenance. I felt cheated by Country Club. If it was not for the membership, I don't think I would have ever visited. We requested for plates and spoon and were denied stating you need to order something from us then only will you be given extra plates and spoons. I ordered chicken just to get some extra plates and it was horrible! The breakfast buffet was not good at all for which I was forced to pay extra apart from the membership. I had a 3 night stay booked, however, we shifted to another hotel on the 3rd day... even though I had to pay additional amount it was worth it. It was our 1st wedding anniversary and it was completely ruined. This is alright for college bachelors or people who really cannot afford better accommodations. A very big no for couples/families who can and have already experienced >2 star stays.

Rarely do I give a hotel such a bad review, but this one is horrendous. The worst property stay and the worst experience I've ever had. My biggest mistake, which I now regret, was taking the country club membership, through which this is only the property tie up stay in Goa by the country club. The property is not at all maintained. The room we checked into was filthy, offensive, and crawling with cockroaches. We were moved to a different room upon request, which was again dreadful with wet walls, mosquitoes, and a dreary atmosphere. Finally,we came to the conclusion that we cannot stay here and had to convert the 6-night package to a 1-night one. The possibility of adjusting the balance stay amount against the food we ordered was taken into consideration ,where Anil at the reception agreed. When we ordered dinner, Nizam the representative from the restaurant arrived with the bill and instructed us to pay the meal bill immediately. We advised him to include the charge during our checkout, necessary adjustment to be done as spoken to Anil. Nizam literally was continuously arguing and persisted in saying that the "Restaurant Bill" and "Reservation Stay" were two whole distinct things and that we had to pay them then and then. He was unkind. He walked into our room and abruptly picked the drinks that we ordered mentioning in case of food adjustment the drinks could not be adjusted. We totally agree of paying separately for the drinks but the way he walked and picked up the bottles from our room was not accepted. The lack of coordination between Anil and Nizam ruined the one night stay too. Though they apologized for their behaviour the next morning during checkout, we had already had a nightmare. I would never suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. Please be very careful while having a word with these guys as their statements keep changing. Please do not take the country club membership if ever offered to you. Pathetic management Total disappointment. Never to be back.
