Revised review .......... ............... There has been substantial improvement on those pain areas listed below, hence tweaking the review adding one more takeaway for the management. *** As we all are aware casualty is the part of a hospital where people who have severe injuries or sudden illnesses are taken for emergency treatment. The vigor and passion shown to admit a patient should be ardently followed while discharging too. Recently my mother was taken to casuality as she fell herself off at home, and from what I could experience spending lions share time at ER, its a critical place to be as everyone admitted needs impartial care, at the same time ER workforce ought to be sure of the fact none is deprived or delayed treatment. 1) Unlike other casualties, here at Cosmo you have to find your way to nurses/docs as they hardly give you attention and diligence on your condition. Please be disruptive enough to take the customer onto a journey. The constant requests to take my mother to 3 feet away restroom at casuality wasn't heeded, after reminding them for the nth time help was offered. Dr Roopika, at casualty was definitely a sunshine as she was selfless in catering my mother and others admitted in comparison to other doctors. Thanks doc 2) The water clogged parking lots still are a nightmare to patients kins. Please think about tarring the road or an alternate so that the car plyers hardly has to take the brunt of rain. Excerpts of visiting Cosmopolitan hospital as on 2021. --_--------------------=========== The hospital boasts some good medico, when it comes to queue and order management pharmacy sucks. Waiting with my preggo wife from 20 mins, wish the process was more streamlined the moment an order is created till medicine delivery!! If you happen to miss your appointments, atleast by 5 minutes you would have to wait for well a hour to surface back in. Unfriendly attendant's who are at the entrance of doctors are so ill mannered that, upon asking any specifics to them they will yell. The ladies bathroom situated at the gynecology doctor's department has no lock/ bolt. No jet pipe too, does an administrative officer appears to be available in the hospital??? Sad state of affairs!! - This has been fixed, thank you. About the other amenity, tee passage to so called two parking lots is a messy rollercoaster ride with substandard up keeping done to the provisions. Bumpy, water filled, if you are lucky enough there are good chances that your four wheeler will be graced with a puncture on the way out, like i experienced. A token vending machine placed opposite to the pharmacy sits duck, having a packed day it amuses me why the pharmacy staffs haven't lit on the token system. You could see people flocking in front of pharmacy, such a lousy administration. It baffles me how this hospital fails to easily manage and contain, behave uprightly when it comes to huge influx of patients. When the patients surge, the mentality and character disposition of pharmacy helpers, billing staff just takes to a hostile mode.

The only problem is with the uniform of the staff even after great service those people have very low quality uniforms,I kindly request the authorities to provide them with good uniforms as I know the authorities are good in nature ,they will be taking good notice of this one.
Since its inception our family members are regularly utilising the services of cosmopolitan hospital and the services provided is excellent . Be it the doctors , nurses and other supporting staff we have received great support and assistance. Recently I happened to consult dr sheena senior surgeon for a medical condition and the outcome was so excellent and great . Thank you so much . Great hospital , excellent doctors, nursing staff and support staff. I would also like to mention that they have a great team which process the cashless insurance and insurance payments .
I had a terrible experience with the hospital. While some of the doctors are providing good care, I must express my concerns about the casualty department, particularly Dr. Devi and the nurse in charge (who I believe is the head nurse, though I'm not entirely sure). My experience compels me to mention their names due to the poorly trained soft skills they exhibited when dealing with patients. There was an incident where they unnecessarily inserted an IV cannula and left it in for three hours without any treatment(No injections or drip was given), only to remove it later, mentioning that they routinely insert IV cannulas for all the patient(Is it truly necessary, and does this practice align with established medical guidelines?) I urge them to consider whether such a procedure is genuinely required. It's a humble request that any quotas or targets not be pursued at the expense of patient well-being. Mostly casualty patients require emergency treatment, and it's essential to prioritize that. Moreover, all patients are paying for proper treatment and deserve respectful and compassionate care. The nursing in charge of the casualty department, whose name I don't know, needs to improve her behavior and interactions with patients. This experience marks the first time I've encountered such a negative impact from this department, and it is genuinely disheartening. Remember, behavior and compassion are critical in healthcare.
Complaint against security staff The security at the entrance of downside parking lot misbehaved with my wife and thrashed with hands on the bonnet of the car. The car bonnet got damaged. This act of security terrified my 6 yrs old daughter and mother in law who is a senior citizen. My daughter was crying badly. My family is in shock of such a rude behaviour of your hospital staff. Verbal abuse and atrocities against ladies should be viewed seriously. Kindly ensure a family friendly atmosphere in your hospital please. These scenarios shows ladies cannot visit alone to your hospital. We are visiting your hospital to get relief from some health issues and we don't want to take back any such extra tremor from your hospital. I had fwdd a mail to PRO and awaiting appropriate action.
The hospital is very crowded and hence there is naturally more waiting period. However if you schedule an appointment you have a chance of meeting the Dr without much of a wait. Parking is a pain and they charge for parking too. Negatives: - Paid parking - Long wait to visit doctor. Their patient management needs improvement. - Canteen timings must improve. - Post labour room charges are applicable for baby too. This makes no sense to me. The mother pays a room rent of 2810rs/day. This is highly ridiculous. They don't provide a separate cradle or baby bed. Then why this additional charge is a question. - The common rest room is not usable as the area is untidy and also the glass panes are broken. In the sense that someone standing outside the hospital building can see you attending the nature's call. See pics for better understanding Positives: - Friendly staffs - all staffs were very polite in my experience. - The room booked was worth the money spent. - Cafe coffee day inside. It was a surprise for me to see it in there. - Overall good hospital if not great.
Doctors are excellent in this hospital but the behavior of staff is not good for the hospital. They think patients are slaves visiting hospital. The behavior of lady staff standing in front of Philip Ommen doctor cabin is not good. When i visited last week i asked this lady when is my turn to see the doctor. I waited for more than 2 hours. I just want to know my number but she shouted in front of everyone rudely and very badly and allowed me to see the doctor once every one completes there turn. This is unacceptable and unfortunate that a such good hospital like cosmopolitan have these kind of rude staffs.
