It used to be wonderful park. Variety of flora. Was Cleanly maintained and hence was rushed by a lot of people on evenings. Some respectable elders were visiting daily and I believe they helped keeping the park well maintained. BUT.... It had gone bad these days. Looks like the new watchman is doing a very little to maintain it as usable. Timings are not properly maintained. Opens late (6:00PM) and closes very early(around 6:30PM) even when a lot of people are walking and jogging around. The trimmed leaves, rakes and hose-pipe are left as such in the walking tracks causing troubles for elderly people. Sometimes, the lights are also not turned on. Could it be to demotivate people from coming? I can see obviously everyone coming to the park maintains social distancing and the dignity. Only parks like these are rays of relaxations for people locked down in their homes. But unfortunately sometimes it becomes a bitter experience because of someone's laziness and careless. Hoping to see this park bloom again!
A well maintained park in Chennai for kids, fitness enthusiasts, yoga. Free yoga training is given to everyone in the morning at 7 AM. There is security guard who maintains the park clean. One can enjoy the beautiful collection of flora and fauna in the park as well. Useful place for the local residents to spend their time in a useful way in velachery ags colony.
Well planned and built, but maintenance is bit on the downside. The plants could be watered regularly to keep it greener. The place is bright and with good lighting for the children to play even when it gets dark. A security person is available to take care of the park and cleaning.
I like going to this park with son regularly. Since it is one of the good parks around it is usually very crowded during weekends. The plants are well maintained. The Free Yoga during the morning is helpful too.

A small beautiful park with greeneries, walking tracks, play area, gym. Seems yoga session is also conducted. Play areas is covered with finest beach sand, which ensures safety and minimal bruises to kids. A bit congested during weekends, but still a good one.

A recent addition in Nanganallur. Good area to walk in prime location. Children love swimming ducks moving in an array. Play-park for children is provided. A boon to Nanganallur.
This place is very calm and beautiful. Full of trees and there is lot of space of walking. Many chairs are there for sitting. This was a dump yard converted to tree park with many native trees(600) varieties. Elderly, kids enjoy this place very much.
Gr8 place to place for shuttle. 2 courts are there. Surrounded by trees n flats so less sunlight which is a main plus point. Also a peaceful park for relaxing. They are altering the park it seems.
One of the best park in South Chennai. Neat and clean. My kid is practicing skating and Tennis here. Also many people are coming for walking and jacking.
Kendriya Vihar has 3 blocks A, B & C. Each block has three separate parks. A block park just surrounded by all A block houses and it's always lively. You can see kids playing in front of our houses safely. I love this park most.

Center Square is a well designed and green decorated open area and few umbrella shades are also installed here at outside of the railway station, for easy to relax and can spend few minutes. Nice to see
