These are the old, infamous 'footpath shops' of Pondy Bazaar, relocated to this complex few years ago by the city corporation. Shopping here is not as pleasant and convenient as it used to be in the footpaths (which itself was quite inconvenient), but then the law has to be followed!! The place is closed and stuffy, and you have to go through narrow spaces to look around. Neatness is quite average. Bangles, bindis etc, plastic toys, bags, clothes-mostly for women, curtains etc are the items available. If you are looking for cheap, unbranded stuff of questionable quality, and are open to bargaining, then you can give this place a shot.
Nice shop very spacious, all kinds of cloths available in all possible ranges. Very well mannered staff who will patiently show and explain....

One of my favorite malls in Chennai. Overall clean and well maintained. Toilets are also clean and automatic hand dryers were there. Variety of shops, not all expensive like Express Avenue.
