Corbett Soho Resort - Resort hotel in Padampur Soria - Nainital, India

We booked this resort recently and were very disappointed. The pool is open till 7 pm but has no lights and once it's dark after 5:30 - 6pm you can't stay in there There is no proper water supply in rooms and flush doesn't work properly You get bonfire only if you book executive rooms and it doesn't matter how much you want to pay for bonfire, you won't get it The food is either not fresh or cook doesn't know how to cook and it is very expensive. The nearby resorts have better and value for money food. The staff is fine but you don't get things done on time. So overall we didn't had a good experience.

We booked this place for vacation, we were not disappointed by the things they offered. It takes approx 1 hour for them to prepare your meal so inform them in advance, the kitchen is operational till 10pm. Also, if you want to use the swimming pool ask them a day before to clean the pool since it takes approx 1 day to clean that. They do have things for outdoor activities like badminton, ball etc for playing. The food that they offer is delicious so you don't need to worry about anything.

Haven't had such bad experience in any hotel/resort in my entire life. Had to call at least 10 time then towels were delivered around 10PM in the night, TV was not recharged, they denied that TV recharge will not be done. We were enjoying in the pool the restaurant guy comes around 7PM and forces us to give dinner order that time only. 9PM we ordered some starters and they said starters are served only between 7-8PM. Also tried their level best to force us to have dinner in buffet inside the restaurant itself. When we escalated they said you can order now but we will deliver food in your room around 10:30 PM but the food was sent before 9:30PM. No mini fridge in the room, no Ice available in their restaurant. Plus the location is not good. Absolutely NO to this property if you want to enjoy your vacation.

This experience which I am sharing is before service experience. The owner and staff both are irresponsible of responding to guest. We have booked two rooms in advance called soho to know the status but person who picked the call was not interested in helping us. He himself introduced as a owner of the resort. Now if the owner is behaving in this manner I can't imagine how will staff will behave. Not taking risk in wasting my money and time. Guys be aware and try some other options instead of Soho.

We really enjoyed our stay Corbett soho resort . Everything is perfect in this place. They have amazing staff, Hotel is situated at an excellent location I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay Crobett soho resort . Definitely value for money.

The savory dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, but the desserts didn't quite meet my expectations. It would be great if the resort could work on enhancing their dessert selection to match the quality of the main courses. One inconvenience during my stay was the absence of a mini fridge in the rooms. This posed a bit of a problem for storing perishable items. The resort did offer to provide their own fridge, but unfortunately, we couldn't use it during the night. This limitation was a bit inconvenient and could be improved upon. Another issue I encountered was frequent power outages during the day. The electricity would cut off around 5-7 times, which was quite bothersome. It would be beneficial for the resort to address this problem to ensure a smoother and more comfortable stay for their guests. Despite these shortcomings, the service provided by a staff member named Himanshu truly stood out. He went above and beyond to fulfill our requests and exceeded our expectations. His attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction made our stay truly amazing. If I were to return to Soho Resort in the future, it would primarily be because of the exceptional service provided by Himanshu. In summary, my experience at Soho Resort was decent, with some aspects that need improvement. The food was fantastic but lacked quantity, and the dessert selection could be better. The absence of a mini fridge in the rooms and the frequent power outages were also drawbacks. However, the exceptional service provided by Himanshu made a significant positive impact on my stay.

29sep-01 oct 2023 trip to JimCo I did my booking drom agoda for full adv. payment for 3 rooms. Upon reaching the the leaser was changed from Signum Soho to The Royal Collection Soho. The owner didn't accept our check-in (as per confirmed booking id). Rather was told to get fresh booking on spot with higher room prices and was least bothered. Pathetic resort and staff.

This is the worst experience we had in our life. Your counterpart The Corbett Soho Report by Signum Hotels and Resorts had refused our entry on the pretext that your Contract/Lease expired one and half months ago. They do not even recognise your Booking confirmation. Their behaviour was ridiculous. Due to heavy bookings for 30.09.23 - 1.10.23 we returned back.
