worst place ever to stay. shows rs300 on online to attract customers. it has no cleanliness and room is so isolated

This is a great inn. Yet, it's not a large one. They offer decent rooms for a very low cost. Both AC and non-AC are offered. The proprietor is warm and welcoming. The bed is comfortable, and the WiFi is free and fast. The area is well situated, and the closest metro station is 850 meters away.

This a good guest house. It's not a big one tho. At a very cheap price they are providing good rooms. AC/Non-Ac both available. The Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Bed is good and WiFi is free with a good speed. The location is good and the nearest metro station is 850m away. Me and my mother stayed here for two nights. The experience was good.

Not maintained at all...rooms are smelly, bathroom were dirty and like a cofin..

The place is messy one, not only this but maximum hotels of this area are same. But location is very good, New Market is close that's why foreign tourists mainly from Bangladesh love to stay here. You got every facilities required for foreign tourists like sim card, money exchange etc easily.

Booked a room from agoda. They showed a good room but provided another which was not good at all. The blanket provided, was not clean for a few months. Pillows was not good. Bedsheet was very old.

If u want a really good review, here it is! This is a very very bad place to stay unless n untill u belong below the BPL category. There is no jet in the toilets. A person with a good physic can hardly fit in the bathroom and all of these are very very dirty. Not only the rooms but whole guest house stinks like hell with cigarettes n all. Rooms are very very small. I am 6 ft tall and my head was about to touch the roof of my room. No facilities at all. A woman cannot survive here so easily. This is the worst stay I have ever had. Very dissatisfied.

I stayed in Continental Guest House, Kolkata for 4 nights. I took room with single bed and without attached bedroom. I stayed in room No 115. Goibibo gave 50% discount so took the offer. Here are my reviews. Location: Located opposite to Fire Brigade station of Mirza Galib Street. It is 20 meters from the fire brigade. Close to Metro (5 minutes)/ Buses and Malls and Markets. The location is safe to roam around as there are people/ travelers in the street at nights. I would rate location as 5/5. Cleanliness of the room : Average. When I entered, the room was clean was fresh and bed linings were fresh. They don't change the bed linings unless you ask for. I would rate 3/5. Size of the room: It was small and had a window. No TV. But enough for a backpacker. rate 4/5. Shared Bathroom and toilets: They were not great. bathrooms were small and no placeholders for Soap, Towel, clothes. But water was available for 24 hours. One bucket of hot water was also available at any time. I will rate 2/5. behavior of Staff: It was a nice experience with me. The receptionist (dada) was very helpful. Rate 4/5. You may observe that the guesthouse is of old style construction and doesn't have modern amenities. Overall, I will recommend this for a backpacker for a price of 250 to 500 Rs. But it is not suitable for families (atleast rooms without attached bathrooms) and single bed - room for more than 550 Rs.
