If you want to have a short distance walk with your loved ones' through a beautiful scenic greenery, then this is that place.. we went there to cross the river through the hanging bridge ,but unluckily that bridge was out of function. And the fee of 40 rupees was high for that simple walk.... Those who wants to take a jeep safari they can go for it

Superb location. A must visit place.A very traditional teak plantation located in kerala, malappuram district. The place has a good history in systematic forest management

I went there on 21/05/2023, and unfortunately the bridge was under maintenance work, being closed and the jungar services were being withheld due to safety problems related to the boat accident recently happened in kerela itself. So, in summary, if you're keen and want to get a feel of the woods, just go there, but don't give more hope, it's only 1/3 of the whole plot we're getting to explore, and the best part is only the respective amount is also charged from us. Do keep a bottle of water with you the whole time it's so humid now

Calm and Quiet place... But the original Connolly's plot which you have to cross a river with the help of a jankar is now under renovation so was not able to visit there...

Oldest Teak plantation in the world. Established in 1864. Very big Teak trees, spread over more than 5 acres of land. Other trees are also there. The Jankar travel is really good.
