Command Hospital - Hospital in Pune - Pune, India

First of all it is an army hospital, all kinds of diseases are treatment here, but outsiders are not allowed to enter without reason. The entire hospital area is clean. I think it is a matter of pride for Pune city. Civilians cannot enter the hospital without proper identification. Nice & Beautiful Hospital.

It was a nice experience. All the doctors are professional and well deciplined.

Very nice hospital.. it is still in process of getting completely developed but the infrastructure is good. The doctors are very skilled undoubtedly

Dr are so worse. If case seems little abnormal they starting doing experiment.the best example of such dr is Deepak mulajker onco specialist. I lost my wife. Never visit such type of hospital.. better treatment available in civil with free of mind and burden of defence rules..no one care to treat in better way at command hospital. They just doing duty.

It is military hospital. All facilities are available here. Well trained doctors. Architecture is unique.

This hospital is really well managed with peaceful place for patients and more importantly the hospital clean and tidy.... I believe people who go to big private social should stop going there and experience the real hospitality management of Command Hospital and then I believe you won't go anywhere apart from Command Hospital tho it is government yet it is well maintained by staff and Doctors in Command Hospital. One of the worst management ever seen within the defence services. Sad to write but the management staff, reception team, and other non defence staff are very unorganized; acts as if they themself own the AMC services. Pros: 1. Defence doctors are very good, disciplined and respectful. They would definitely, talk politely and understand the patient. 2. Neat and clean. 3. Everything (cure) under one roof. 4. One of the best Defence doctors in the town. Cons: 1. Waiting line starts at 7 am in the morning, poor people wait there at the entrance from 5 am. 2. Reception team does not have any manners to talk. Few serving under the defence service have a lot of ego and shall not talk properly, scream for no reason, insult you or ask you to leave, rather understanding or listen to anything. Later, if the Dr. says I have told/ordered him/her - then they shall act obedient (ACT is the word, here) as soon as the Dr. leaves the bay they are back to routine. 3. Tone of non defence staff (non AMC staff) is vulgar and when asked to be polite, the response from them is "This is what it is". 4. No family person/parents or spouse are allowed with the patient; they have the curtsy to say that let the patient with surgery get up and do everything by themself. (How will one do?) 5. They have maids (mausi/ didi) around for patients- is what they say but you won't see any one around or helpful at all. (Call button near to the patients bay shall not work or is kept off). Staff shall not look at the saline bottle, when the blood enters the tube they shall run here and there. Patients in the room takes care of each other in that situation, when they too ask help for other fellow patient in there- reply to them is "we know what should be done, don't teach us" , "we know when to come and when to see". 6. Security person has a duty to just remove everyone out of the patient bay (with no respect, no sense on what he is talking) even during the visiting hours. If complained to the reception Dr. - the reply is "its their duty, they are tired, we can't say anything to them, they are working since morning, you only understand". 7. Zero Time Management. Applies to the OPD services. Visiting hours - 4pm to 6pm and if the doctors visits or they have any imp person visiting the bay - sadly that day you won't have any time with your patient. Request won't work - talk to Dr. is what the team will say (how will patients guardian know anything/who the Dr. is or one there, when we are not at all allowed inside or even allowed to meet the patient)-nice tactics. Note. 1 visitor at a time, only. Kids strictly not allowed. 8. You cannot bring out side food after 6pm, securities at the gate won't allow you in (visiting hour is over). They have audacity to say - "ask the patient to collect it from the gate, you can give your food from here at the gate". Here, in this situation please call the Dr./ reception team at the admission counter from their security boot telephone & they will then allow for food. 9. If you are parking your bikes on the road, make sure it's on your own risk, any one take it or might be towed. My sincere request to the staff members here at the command hospital is to please atleast allow one gaurdian/family person to be with the patient (making sure s/he agree to the discipline of defence and cleaness). Also, understanding everything at one side agreeing to all but please understand the emotions of a patient s/he going through, don't let it to be more hard on him/her (let us have some humanity and human touch).
