My recent experience at Comet Hall was nothing short of a complete disaster. We had the misfortune of choosing this venue for a special occasion, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we have ever made. On the day of the event, things only went from bad to worse. The banquet hall itself was far from the elegant and well-maintained space I had expected. The decor was outdated, and the general cleanliness left much to be desired. The lack of upkeep gave the impression that the venue did not prioritize maintaining a pleasant ambiance for its guests. The service during the event was a complete disaster. The waitstaff seemed untrained and overwhelmed, resulting in long waits for drinks and food. Numerous guests complained about their orders being incorrect or cold upon arrival. The staff appeared to be understaffed, leading to a lack of attention and an overall unpleasant experience for everyone in attendance. Considering the exorbitant price we paid for the event, the experience was a colossal disappointment. I expected a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, but instead, I was met with incompetence and neglect. Comet Hotel failed miserably in delivering a satisfactory experience for our special occasion. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing Comet Hotel for any important event. The lack of organization, cleanliness, and quality service made it a nightmarish experience that I would not wish upon anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find a venue that values professionalism, customer satisfaction, and delivers on their promises.

I booked terrace hall for my daughter's birthday celebration on 31/08/2023. After seeing the review, I was very much sceptic in continuing the servicing from hotel even after paying the advance booking fee. But their manager Naveen convinced me and he explained the issue about why and when customers have given bad reviews. Personally my experience was awesome. Food was served based on the menu selected by me and all were served hot and fresh. Ambience was beautiful and specially the outer hall looks fantastic with artificial greenery. And the hotel is beautifully located on outer ring road. Reception is superb. I would say it was worth for the cost incurred. Note: Some of my guests used the plate twice, but Naveen ensured that those many plates are added without any extra cost. Thank you Naveen :) Improvement areas: 1. The starters could have been served to all the guest when they were waiting for the cake cutting at their seat. 2. Lighting can be improved in the outer terrace hall which were dim for photography.

It was my daughters bday. And The so called COMET HOTEL screwed everything. I would definitely say avoid planning any function here. The service was way too Horrible. Really the worst service i have ever had in Banglore. Under staffed & inexperienced staffs. The manger was drunken. The buffet was to be seamless but it was not, they served main course before the starter for which they were not even apologetic. When we spoke to them about this rather being apologetic & kind they abused & threaten us. It was a bad call with them.

I visited this restaurant by chance. The reception area is fine but the restaurant needs some refitting. The staff were polite and helpful. We did not order much except some juices and tea which were all good.

Never ever think of booking this place for any functions in your dream also. Such a terrible and horrific experience we had here. Been to this place for a family function. The service quality was so poor. They Intentionally run Buffet with limited quantity of food to make less consumption. Refilllling of any item happens after 15-20 mins interval. People will lose their appetite by waiting in the mid of having the Lunch/Dinner. Second part is If you dare to complaint then they will threat you for your life. Drunken people will come and will misbehave with you and your family. In case still this stage If you able to tolerate then they will lock the door and call the police by making false accusations. Pathetic service and people in a Bangalore like city which is not at all acceptable. Please refrain yourself for making the biggest mistake of your life.

Would give it a zero if I could. Hotel staffs were very rude and indecent. As it was buffet and paid in advanced , intentionally delaying to serve several items, after complained many times by many guests nothing changed. Food quality was very bad. They didn't even hesitate to threatened us while leaving even though kids and ladies were there . Don't visit this please it's horrible. Worst experience in my life till now.

Horrible pathetic and substandard service. I wish to give negative stars. We booked the party hall for my daughter's birthday in advance. They couldn't serve food for 35 people, the starters were empty for all the time, in the name of chicken do piaja they served some random watery chicken curry. My guests had to wait with their plates for 15 minutes for food. The soup was bland, the dal was not seasoned. On confronting the staff they gave some made up chicken starter. After my guests left at the time of payment we started to tell them the issues and they didn't even agree. Some drunk man came as MD and started using slangs toward my family, even the same person's wife tried to push my wife and friends. He was telling me how to eat a buffet, how to eat starters.They locked the door before police came, once the police came they started with local Kannada language that we have eaten and not giving money. Few good police men were understanding but then came another one who started to tell us give all the money and leave. Otherwise come to the station. These are goons having zero knowledge of service industry. First ever bad experience in this city in 12 years. Please don't book this place, they will ruin ur stay or party.

Apart from location nothing is good about this hotel. Had one of the worst hotel experience in life. Booked in agoda. Stayed for 3 days with family. Had to endure lot of hardship with family. No checkin assistance. No fan in rooms. Ac seem to be working on and off. No houskepeeing. Had to request and change the room for AC issues. Only reception number is available for guests which responds only occasionally. Don't expect anything professional here. It's a good building managed by wrong people. This is not a hotel but worse than a local lodge.
