Collectorate Ground - Playground in Kanchipuram - Kanchipuram, India

The Collector office is always well maintained. There is huge ground where people gather to play cricket and so on. Today I went to a Book fair organized by TN Govt. Thanks to Stalin. Sponsored by Billabong school and Indian Bank. Little did i know. The book fair was awesome, a huge collection of books. I had a very good experience.

My favourite place. I visited many more times other than my house.

Excellent innitiative by the government. Most of the people used to do a morning walk and the ground is usually busy. There will be 5-6 cricket games played sequentially. Each and every student enjoy to play cricket and other games. And other competitive games will be conducted here.

Suitable for gully cricket with tennis balls .Can stretch the boundaries as long as we want since the ground is big. Crowded during Saturdays and Sundays. But that won't stop us from playing here.

We'll maintained ground for all the purpose. People tends to play here on weekends and on weekdays at morning and evening so many people come here to do exercises. Recently book fair too conducted here. Republic day and independence day are conducted in this place. At night, people gather here as small groups and do chatting here

Basic facilities need and physical excercise equipments to be install in specific allotted place

Good Place for evening walks. But needs maintenance.

It's literally just sand and rock. It doesn't even have a dedicated cricket pitch which sucks because there were so many people (in groups) playing cricket when I visited. I visited in the evening and it was pretty crowded. I wanted to jog but had to take little breaks in a lap because people kept coming in my way.
