Shanti Priya Hotel is far from Mall Road and the market area so it 2 big problems to go to the market area or Mall Road and there staff are fantastic but service very slow, room service is very badly several times we call to staff but they don't come to the room and change the Cover, pillow but not clean. Morning Breakfast was not good and the food quality was not good and not sufficient at all. When we checked out they suddenly claimed we had 1000 rupees for Bed cover sheet wasted purposes, we were really surprised we stayed for 2 days no one could inform me also manager can't tell me but we talked about more issues every day. Don't go there

Place is good.. Staaf are very supportive. But following shortcomings: 1. The place is around 1.2m away from darjeeling station and whenever you wish to go to/return from the market, you will have to hire a taxi for the elderly or say kids, which may cost around 300 to 4o0 bucks. 2. Restaurant was inoperative during our stay. 3. Power back was not there. 4. Problem in getting room service from 10PM to 8AM. However,following are the advantages: 1. Beautiful view from the balcony of the hotel. 2. You will be saving around 30 minutes while traveling towards NJP or Tiger hill as the hotel location saves you from the traffic near the station.

The room i staying was really clean but there's no any telephone service, and the glass is also not clean and the television is also not working, no heater service.... No any slippers in the room, no soap so i didn't like the service of the hotel..... Yea it's cheap but that doesn't mean we didn't get anything.. So i think you should work in this

Homely stay with warm behaviour from the owner of the hotel. Rooms are neatly clean and spacious, they serve food from the restaurant. Situated on Hillcart road 10 min walking distance from Mall and 5 min from Darjeeling toy train station. The views of Kanchanjungha from this hotel is awesome.

The staying experience in Hotel was amazing.Balcony view was nice.All staffs are very courteous.I would specifically thanks Mr Hemant his wife, Dipesh and all other staffs who were really helpful and of very good nature.They guided us for various local sightseeing.we loved doing a chit chat with Mr Hemant.All the staffs were very caring.Our stay for 6 days just passed very memorable.The chefs also provided fresh prepared food which was much better than outside food.Rooms were very clean and hygienic.Bathrooms had working geysers. Toy trains passes in front of the hotel.Room service is very good and fast. I would like to revisit and stay here when i will come to darjeeling again. The room service and fresh delicious food prepared by chefs on order.Safe, Comfortable and hygienic.All staffs i saw always using mask and maintaining cleanliness.Safe for kids too.

Room and bathroom are very clean, nice & spacious. Service is also very good. You will also have a very nice view from the balcony. Food is also very good but pricey. But the main problem is that it is very far from mall road, It takes 45 minutes by walking to reach mall road. And 300 rupees for private cab to reach mall road from hotel.

It's very close to the Darjeeling toy train station and the taxi stand. Once I ordered a veg fried rice and once an egg noodles which were really good however, the quantity was a bit less. The service is very good which I was not expecting. The view from the hotel balcony is amazing. They charge INR 300 for getting the room heater and the only disappointing part is the curtains are translucent.

Cleaning is not done properly after every check out and beds and spreads and pillow covers are not clean had food particles and hair dust on bed and tables
