Collection O 24858 The Hotel Kizomla - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

The only reason for 4 star will be the location of the hotel. The hotel is very far from the city(around 5-7kms). This will not be a problem if you have a vehicle arranged. We had issues with the tv and shower which were all fixed when asked. The staff was very polite and were very punctual with the breakfast delivery. The property does not have a dining area if I am not wrong and all the food prepared will be delivered to your room.

Well maintained hotel with good behavior staff. Manager helped us for our Tsmongo lake trip... Breakfast was also good... It was little bit late to serve the breakfast but it's okay... I just request to manager that please arrange a extension in room 502 so that people can get back to you . And You can give a better service... Good work keep it up. Hope so we'll see U soon

Without doubt, the best hotel I stayed during my time in Sikkim. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. The staff was friendly, (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks for being so hospitable and helpful specially for arranging the cab on such a short notice, which helped us in boarding our train on time.

Horrible exp while staying in hotel. Highly priced as compared to service. Staffs were rude and non cooperative. Food quality was worst. Insects found in breakfast. Further breakfast was very limited with no taste. They dont have kitchen and arrange food from outside which took 2 hours to deliver .Room was smelling fishy and bed sheet was not clean. Would not prefer to book room from OYO next time.

Pathetic service , no sense of hospitality. Rude staffs at the reception. Super costly food menue and they will add amount which you have not eaten. But you can't argue to them because they are local peoples. I will never suggest anyone to check-in to this hotel. One of the worst place to stay in if you are in Gangtok. The reply from the hotel side only shows the experience of handling guest. Very soon I will post the pic of the keys of the hotel and bill to prove that its not a fake review

This Hotel doesnt deserve any star. I have visited this Hotel (Can we really call this a Hotel?) from 7th June to 10th June. I had to checked out the hotel on 10th June 2018 before 1 day of my actual check out date 11th June 2018. Its my worst experience in life of staying in this hotel. Some of my bad experience I had faced there is mentioned below. 1) You can get only bread butter, egg and Alu Parantha only there in breakfast and nothing else. 2) They make only Potato as a veg sabji as its the readily available there. The most shocking thing that once we had requested the cook (He is a Nepali guy and a good cook but cant cook any other food as he has to adhere the instruction by the management) to make Vindi sabji one night but the manager answered that there in Gangtok its not available at all. I believed that. But after chking out of hotel I came to know that its actually a bit costly there so they dont prefer to spend extra cost to cook that. 3) I have uploaded 3 pics here. We were given the worst smelly room to stay in, as you can clearly see the seeapage in the ceiling 4) The pot to keep the food hot is just for a show piece. They dont use it at all. 5) The Table top glass in the so called kitchen was broken in front of us but they dont bother to change it at all inspite of my several request. You can realise how dangerous it is for small children guest. 5) There is no guarantee that the Wifi will work 1 hour at least. 6) Only 1 boy is working and assigned there in the kitchen as a serving boy. So you will have to wait at least 15 min if you ask him to do something. 7) We had placed an order for soup at night and asked the boy to make it 2/3. Surprisingly he served soup only in 2 bowl. On asking he replied that they have only 2 bowl hence served the 3rtd soup in a steel bowl. There are many more things I can mention here. But I think its sufficient to realise the standard of that. I would say that they are just taking the advantage of the positin of their hotel as there is no other minimum standard restaurant is nearby. You need to go Mall road by Taxi there to reach a standard restaurant. So at night you have no choice and people just bound to take food from their restaurant. Since I cant save this message without giving them a star rate so I have put 1 star here. God Bless Them.

the Economy room which we stayed in was superb with discounted offer even ****** for this room was less.(most hotel will cost it for ***** Rs). Minor glitch were no clothes hanger and tv.(but all facilities were available in standard room and above including attach bathroom).It had king size bed and such spacious room with comfy and fluffy mattress. we had room 502 and beside us was room 501. and both opened in a common hall and with the common bathroom in the corner. though we were one couple we took one room but if i were with my family i would book those two room and would lock the **** hall door and would have the whole 2BH for me and my family. the Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was star grade as this hotel is newly opened. The windows opened to the hilly region with clouds. 10/10 for the receptionist.(also the incharge)he was most humble and care taking ,one can be. our room was 2 storage down and whenever we called he provided us with one bucket hot water carrying it himself ( geyser was to be installed but mechanic didn't come in the afternoon).

A very nice place to stay in Gangtok. The manager and the staff are well disciplined and gentle. The network sucks in the hotel ( 1 for this) and WiFi isn't too great . Apart from this, all in all this a great place to stay and enjoy the Sikkim Trip.
