Coffee House @ Mount Road - Cafe in Chennai - Chennai, India

Ordered chappathi, which was really oily; I couldn't even chew it because it was so hard. I'm quite sorry I chose this location. It appeared that they had reheated the dinner from the previous day. The kurma too was very oily, so avoid this eatery and stay hungry. At the very least, you'll prevent food poisoning. They are unconcerned about customers or VFM.

I took a birthday cake from here as it was an emergency and last minute order. Normally i would have skipped this place but it was open at night 11.45pm so took parcel from here. The cake was good in taste but I think the layers are made from bread . No ambience, no proper lighting and you wouldn't expect any better seating here. Crowd comes here for late night coffee and expected crowd is of age 16 to 35. Nothing much to see here. They have coffee here which is famous. Most ordered here is falooda, fruit juice, cakes and coffee.

The coffee house at Mount road is a good place to visit often. The cream bun, butter bun, bread butter jam and such kind of items provided by the coffee house is too nice. Apart from these mini meals other kinds of lunch, dinner etc are also available here. It's not that expensive and can be visited for casual purposes.

The Mount Road Coffee House is one of the most prominent hotels in Chennai and is designed in a modern style. Even if you come at 2 or 3 in the morning, this Mount Road coffee house is crowded. It is because of the quality of food followed here. I have a few gripes here and they are firstly parking facilities in such an important hotel there is not enough convenient parking space. They tell you to park on the road, it is very difficult to park and pick up. Maximum 15 to 20 vehicles can be parked at a time. The second disadvantage I think is the cost of the ingredients. It is a bit noticeable otherwise it has a wide variety of food items like cakes, pubs, tea, coffee, sweets, sweets, etc., making Mount Road an important destination for late night food lovers. Mount Road Coffee House is the most prominent snack bar located on Anna salai. The aroma of the coffee here will automatically take you there as you travel down the mount road. Food making quality is good, self service only available, rest room available here, most recommended coffee and unique biscuit, french fries and iconic cakes must try here. More cleanliness required

Filter Coffee - Worth to taste.! Cakes and Fruit Juices are fresh enough.! Samosa and Puffs is okay but masala taste depends on personal preference.! Price is Nominal. But Beware of "No Parking".

Worst experience!!!!! Samosas and bonda are not fresh they are old ones. My suggestion is to ask before having this .

We bought pot kulfi and falooda taste is good.

Wanna share my experience at coffee house mount road which is the mother branch. Coffee and tea provided at affordable costs here. They have almost everything including breakfast , lunch and dinner varieties. They have various cakes, buns, puffs etc They have faloodas and fresh juices and much more to talk on.. I've taken few photos year ago and I'd like to share it.
