Nice behaviour... But one should note that... PRC canteen is closed on every Tuesday... And SRC canteen is closed on every Monday.

PRC CANTEEN has very good and cooperative staffs. Usually all items are available here. Five Star rating from my part.

CSD are the most profitable retail chain in India, ahead of Future & Reliance Retail[2] and sell a wide variety of products like household provisions, kitchen appliances, alcoholic drinks, cars, and sports equipment. Though originally meant exclusively for active and retired members of the Armed Forces personnel (defined as troops), it is slowly and steadily being expanded to include GREF, NCC Units at Group HQ level, TA units, CDA's staff, Indian Ordnance Factories, Embarkation HQs, civilians paid from defence estimates, civilians paid out of civil estimates, and Paramilitary forces under operational/administrative control of the Army civilian government employees. Generally, these goods are procured by CSD in bulk, and sold at concessional rates (without taxes), compared with retail prices. CSD prices are low as the goods sold are exempt from taxes. A huge profit is earned by the Canteen Stores Department

PRC canteen complex is the most happening place within the restricted regimental area. Not only the complex houses the PRC CSD, it has a restaurant , a cafetaria , an Ice cream parlour , a mobile store , a showroom housing TV/FRIDGE and the couple of SBI ATMs. RO drinking water facility and a visitor lounge are other amenities. The canteen caters to the day to day needs of Army and EX Army persons. From biscuits to brooms, from soaps to socks, from combs to cosmetics, from buckets to bags....... All are available in the canteen. MONDAY is currently the weekly holiday. For timings, you need to check the canteen notice board.

Nice experience without any tension u can do your shopping (canteen) staff are very cooperative only problem is transportation .better have your own transportation facilities...

Punjab Regimental Centre (PRC) is unit run CSD canteen(URC) under Ramgarh CSD Depot. Sales to authorised defence personnel, serving or ex-service, as per their card limit/entitlement. No civilian is allowed to enter or purchase from any URC across India.

Best place to see pride of our soldiers, there training and to buy stuffs at cheaper rate if you have Canteen Card issue to Defence service people
