COCONUT PENINSULA RESORT - Resort hotel in Bhagatpur, Tangi - Cuttack, India

An excellent place to visit and relax. An ideal place in a very cool, green environment. Everything thing was superb. We were 16 persons, all family members, enjoyed thoroughly. Be it rooms, staff, food, environment, cleanliness, welcome, spa, boating, swimming pool or just a morning walk..... excellent. Very much close to Bhubaneswar. One can easily relax in weekend. Very economical too. I loved this place simply.

Not known to many of the fellow people of Odisha but this place is a beautiful staycation for 1-2 day max.It takes max 1 hr drive from Bhubaneswar or 30mins drive from Cuttack.The rooms are uber cool and seriously it was beyond our expectations.Staffs are friendly but not Professional.. Drawback is the 1.Food and Restaurant service considering the price they are charging; needs a lot of improvement on that front...2. Lack of any engaging activities on the property which might bore some people..if u can manage that a bit it's one of the places you will be definitely enjoying for any special day of yours.

On 11th September I went with my Family (12 members)to this amazing beautiful resort . Had a relaxing time with very good food,ambience, service in nature's lap. A lovely experience with lovely hosting.Thanks to the Management Team of the resort and best wishes to make it more comfortable and sustain the great standard !! N.B. I would suggest to prepare wheelchair ramp ways so that Elderly, immobile people on their ownself can enjoy the experience comfortably . Price is a bit high. But location is very good. Peacefull. Should have some more recreation activities. Hope it will be done in future. Its newly constructed now.

Let us start with good thing first: 1. Wonderful weekend getaway, close to Bhubaneswar/Cuttack. Close to the national highway. 2. Clean, tidy and neat maintenance. 3. Wonderful environment amidst of Jungle and Eastern Ghats. 4. Sarine and Peaceful place, no noise. 5. Food is tasty. People are good and willing to help. Simple menu, so confusion on choice making. 6. Organized layout with great architecture. Stylish and Contemporary layout. 7. Rooms are good with great view of mountains and manmade water body. 8. Unlimited breakfast even the facility was occupied with just 5 of us. Great customization for our needs. 9. Food was fresh. We tried Indian / Chinese, no complaints. Can be better: 1. Communication to Main Gate and Front Office on guest arrivals and can be prepared with documentation and check-in process. 2. Dogs around front desk and other areas create little scary for kids or adults who are not friendly with pets. Not taken care even after provided with feedback. 3. It can difficult to control Mosquitos in lawns and open areas with jungle environment, however, can make efforts to reduce their presence. 4. Rooms were not cleaned on the next day of stay, we gave them enough time for them to clean, but no response. 5. Room Services / Housekeeping never answered our calls. 6. We need to walk to restaurant to get water filled up with bottles. No service on this front. 7. Keeping a 8 room facility, team size is small and has difficulty to cater guest request. I guess. 9. We didnt notice Life Jackets for boat riding, preferred. 10. Being in mid of jungle, staff may be trained on proactive requirements of the guest. The staff who helped us are: Vikas (front office/manager), Lipi/Front Office, Sourabh, Jitendra, Anushmita, Bollu (Kitchen Service), Chef Ram Chandra and Lalit. 'Can be better' areas are bound to have keeping location of the resort. We may not avoid all the above, however can be an effort to reduce such inconveniences. Irrespective of Can be better areas, I strongly recommend a stay for peaceful holiday.

This was much needed. This resort is amazingly beautiful. Very thoughtful with everything. Only thing they need to donfor a longer survival is maintain the property. Huge area and still lot under construction. No air conditioned restaurant yet. Nonetheless if the weather is fine you will have a good time munching in the cafe. Google maps gives acurate direction. Road condition is good when traveling from bhubaneswar or cuttack.

They have to learn abcd before going to hospitality industry. Perhaps a wealthy owner has left the property on mercy of highly unprofessional and non-domain based person. Can wish luck for their business, but I will think hundred times before going there again.

Visit Date- 1st July 2023 Resort Details- Located in Tangi near OCL, 45kms from BBSR. Vast property with 8 watefront rooms, water body, boating, swimming pool. Cost-4500+taxes(breakfast included) 12pm check in 10am check out. PROS- -Good rooms with all amenities. - Property is beautiful separate open restaurant, boating, pool. - Service is ok can be lot better - Authentic Odia cuisine is good, rest are ok. - Pool is good to access almost remains empty. CONS- - Service after 10pm is lagging,even an water bottle takes time. - Food options should be more specifically breakfast can be buffet. - Staff(one with a pony tail)can be more sensitive, shouting in front of customers isn't recommended. - Furniture in the room specially beds cn be chckd, had a broken bed with screws coming off at 12.40am, room had to be changed later. - Pool side liquor consumption shld be allwd based on undertkng by the guests. Overall good place, lot can be improved with time! Recommended..
