Very beautiful and quiet place.
BUT nearly no room service (like fridg, laundry, breakfast etc...) and no really close place for lunch breakfast etc
The hotel is very old and mosquitoes are too much, although the owner has provided mosquito net- really appreciable, bathroom was really smelly . For Families i feel it was a nice place, beach is at walkable distance and its totally a residential place without traffic disturbances except for the noises coming from the school nearby...
Good place but bad staff. We arrived at evening 5 PM and it took sometime to trace the receptionist. When we asked for coffee he suggested to go to a restaurant. Water bottle and 2nd towel was given only upon insisting. To charge your mobile phone, you have to switch off the TV. Insufficient power sockets. TV Remote doesn't work. No WiFi password given and when we tried to ask the receptionist he was not available at all. Only at the checkout we found that there is a kitchen and dining room. I asked the staff why did he suggested us to go to a restaurant? He just smiled. Great ambience and a great place spoiled by poor quality staff and poor quality service. There are too many options available in this area.
Very good place to stay and spend some time. Close to beach area with 5 mins walk and just opposite to Bishop's House. You get lot of or Infact most of the places close by. You can just walk around or rent a bike to enjoy the place.
The staff is very friendly and they take care of their guest well. The owner although overbooked the place and insisted us quite many times to shift to an alternate accommodation. But after visiting 2 of them, I said no to the offer.
Either book through air bnb or directly (take written confirmation if you booing directly) for best rates (2000 per night for our stay in Feb 2019)
Ensure water bottle, soap, towels, AC, wifi and bathrooms are all provided at check in itself. Rooms were clean and tidy. Geyser in our bathroom didn't work.

Overall we had a very good stay. Rooms were clean and breakfast was awesome. Godson was very friendly and professional. He arranged a 2 hour boat ride in kumbalangi backwaters which was a great experience.
