Coastal kitchen family restaurant - Restaurant in Udupi - Udupi, India

Coastal kitchen was an awesome place to have lunch in complete ac seating with a beautiful ambience. A fish meal was ordered in which only seasonal fish, got to pick up the best kodai fish and was enjoyed with mouth salivating taste. Besides mutton biryani was relished with raita and salan. Meat pieces were perfectly cooked giving a superior and balanced diet. Service was top notch and reasonable enough to enthral fond memories. The quite spacious and clean environment made us crave for more but we were stomach full. We got to experience a good food journey at this wonderful restaurant with only positive vibes all around. Really blessed

We liked everything except chicken. I think everywhere in Udupi and mangalore, they use Tyson chicken and it's always too hard. Other than the chicken, prawns are a must try over here. Fish fry was also good. Good service and above average cleanliness.

Tawa pomfret fry was so delicious. Their chicken items are all on point. The species and auroma makes your taste bud wanting to visit them again. The fishes are cleaned well before cooking and all their fish menus are freshly cooked.Additionally, the chef understands and considers the health of their customers, which makes the food not too greasy, oily, not much artificial colours used and doesn't make you feel bloated. The best part about this restaurant is that we get boiled rice and there is parking facility.

Great food highlighting the local cuisine and quick, prompt service makes this place one of my go-to restaurants when in Udupi. Both AC and non AC seating options are available.

Good place for lunch/dinner option near City bus stand at udupi. They have an AC seating at the upper floor with comfortable seats. They have a vast menu with mangalorean cuisines , punjabi chinese etc. The seafood items are really good. The fish thali has meen rassa (no pieces) , rice, a vegge and uppad. We ordered anjal masala fry and muru meen fry both were delicious. The service is good and staff is welcoming.

Foos is good, just remember south India is not meant for Chinese cuisine, so don't compare Ambience is good, kids friendly Location is good, near by city bus stand Prices are reasonable

Good experience and when you visit Udupi you much visit costal kitchen hotel once, food is absolutely awesome.

Had ordered chicken biryani.. it had a hair in it.. I had eaten the 3/4th portion & then found it.. I showed it to the waiter, and he was asking if I wanted to replace it with a fresh one but there was no point as I was already full.. the restaurant should definitely take note of this hygiene concern & work on it.
