Co-operative Hospital vadakara - Hospital in Vatakara - Kozhikode, India

I recently visited the hospital for my mother's checkup, and the experience was exceptionally disappointing. We provided blood samples for INR and sugar testing at 1:30 pm, with the promise of results in 45 minutes. However, when I checked with the lab staff after the specified time, they informed me that they needed to take the blood sample again. This level of irresponsibility and lack of communication is unacceptable. It's not the first time we've encountered such issues at this hospital. Previously, we faced similar problems with the cardiology reception staff. After waiting for two hours for a cardiology surgeon, we were informed that the doctor was not available. Overall, the service at this hospital, from lab procedures to cardiology appointments, is marked by inefficiency and poor communication. Patients deserve better treatment and respect for their time. I hope the hospital takes immediate steps to address these issues and improve the overall experience for patients.

Very bad housekeeping. ..washroom are not cleaned well..being a bystander of a bed rideden patient, i have to wash all the utensils that im using to feed my father in the wash basin which is inside the untidy washroom. Very poor service .. After a long argument with cleaning staff , she cleaned toilet. No customer care staff available to complain.. One wardrobe inside the room is full of cockroaches and other pests are coming out in the night. No pest management at all.. Horrible..

Pls dont go to pediatrician Latha subramanian..i had very bad experience. i went to her with my new born baby. and she always suggesting every mothers to give formula for babies . very bad behaviour and consultation.

Simply Superb.... My MOM went through a bypass surgery under the supervision of Dr. Shyam Ashok. We are extremely happy and satisfied the service we got from the hospital. Doctor and his team was excellent and they make sure us to feel that we are in safe hands. special mention to some of the staffs as well in cardiac section and ICU like Aneesh, Soorya, Shabna..afarid to miss some name. The support we got from the cardiac block reception , Akhil from Insurance coordination etc are helped us timely. specially since we are far away from the hospital. Thanks Doctor Shyam and your team... A safe hands to Cardiac patient.

My daughter jus 5 yrs kid had cough and stomach pain so went here, so dr asked to do urine infection test while doing this lab assistant called dr and said they found sugar in the urine, so dr said to do sugar test and it was also high 275mg We were shocked and fully stressed, so dr adviced to do empty stomach sugar test so we took in different hospital and everything was normal, however that day we were fully stressed, our family does in eat food thinking about our kid very worst hospital, but the dr was very kind and felt sorry for the incident.

Thanks to Dr. Shyam ashok and team from my whole family. Caring and the hospitality from Doctors and staffs are too good, especially staffs in the ICU were very friendly and caring. I should specially mention the canteen though it doesnt count in the review :) , it is not like hospital canteen that we normaly see ,it is too good. Overall Hospital stands out in every aspects.

Doctors are very co-operative,punctual n dedicated in their work...but the nurse and lady staff are very indecent behavior to a patient shifted to the room....They are not even ready to help a patient admitted of stroke...not helping to clean the bed ridden patient or changing bed sheets.we should remind them to change bedsheets n pillow covers n also to clean the room.The hospital authority is concerned only about room rent and other expenses...never bother about patient's conveniences....totally disappointed...

Performed whole day medical checkup today. Extremely great service and accomodating staff. Ms Abhina working in the insurance department was of great help. Kudos to her. Only scope of improvement is the cleanliness of the toilets. It was not cleaned and maintained.
