So refreshing place, 2-3 hours drive from Hyderabad. Road is also good , except on 2,3 places,which is manageable. Parking is little tough on weekends. Not very crowded on weekends. Very peaceful place & the way to reach this place will give you a eye feast. Best to visit this place in rainy season, to view the best of it

Located at about 140kms from Hyderabad, it takes about 2 hours by motorcycle, or around 3 hours by car. The Nh65 to Mumbai is good, which in needless to say, but unfortunately you'll have to 25kms of village roads (not even state highway). These are some sections of roads that are simply not fit for a car but we could manage with a 2 wheeler (preferably better to bring an Adventure motorcycle than a sports one). Sport tires will slip on the katcha sections until you ride slow and on a straight line. These roads and the overall underdeveloped nature of this route has an advantage though. The scenery is just so incredible! Very few people visit here given it is a bit inaccessible. The lush green makes it perfect for a walk around the reservoir. There's a small temple nearby that you could visit. Bring your own water, food/snacks as there's nothing to be found nearby. There are a few villages around but they are mostly not stocked with amenities or items that you may want. Good to spend a few hours here, get here early, treat the place with sanctity and have a good time away from mobile phone screens.

This place can be further more developed for tourism. Excellent view. Should visit this place when the dam is filled with water. Recommended to visit in rainy seasons. But the issue with this place is the neighbouring village people are blocking the way and demanding money (begging) from the people.

Place is good but the trek directions are not as good and that's the disappointing thing and I was lost in the deep forest after about 6 km and then I kept on roaming and for 1 hr I was clueless and was trapped ... Then luckily I found a shepherd and he helped me and took me to his place and I went to a complete other side of the forest ... I crossed 2 rivers which are almost to neck level . I had a adventurous trek and I was really lucky that day ...if I haven't found the shepherd I would be in news in no where and a rescue mission would happen ... He is the one who saved me that day ...he's from motimok thanda ...he took good care of me ... And gave me food and tea as I didn't have water for almost 3 hrs in continuous walk Last board that was seen ...#pic2 I request chincholi wildlife sanctuary to take proper care about the trek route and Karnataka forest department to consider this #adventurouslife #trek
