cNclaa ghaagh - Tourist attraction in Jarakel - Khunti, India

Beautiful picnic place for family and groups (friends) in the picnic season. Environment is good nd surrounded by forests. You can explore the place beautifully with nature and river.

December to February is the best time to come to this place as there is less water in the river ,so it is quite safe during those times, during this time because of festival season and picnic mood, Dec-Feb is peak season, So I would recommend you to come during the following months mentioned above. If you come during the off season,you will not find anyone around ,it will be quiet and peaceful,but not safe if you come in a small group or alone. Otherwise a good place for picnics/outings to spend time with family or friends.

You can take a lot of memories with you by exploring this place thoroughly. the people here are very nice . The water was very cold.

Khunti has a number of picnic spots nearby. Chanchala Ghagh is one such place suitable for kids and adults too. The area was quite clean. And there was even a changing/washroom for girls but I came to know that it wasn't maintained properly.

Best place for picnic

You need to take a turn from TORPA CHOWK. One of the best places for picnic, family outing. You'll get sun and sand and a nice river view. Need to carry ready made food or cook it yourself.
