Club Prana - Spa in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

I have been coming to Hyatt's Club Prana over a decade, and the changes led by Khushal are excellent. The ambience, friendly staff and hygiene have been the best upgrade. The facilities are fantastic it's class and is a complete club under one roof of all the star hotels in Kolkata. Wonderful experience and hospitality

For the price, below average service. Got a facial done, while the lady doing it did it diligently, she clearly lacked training. For a 75 min service , almost 30 mins was spent just massaging cream/product on the face, rather than exfoliating/cleansing etc. I had requested a different facial service and I got a completely different service. The towels used to hold hair back reeked of stale stench of water/products. The steam machine in the room didn't function, so the lady got creative and used hot towels. She did give me an amazing head massage. I will not ding the lady who provided service, but the team overlooking the spa side of Hyatt to better train their team. I expected a whole lot more for a 75 min facial.

Chanchal sir is the trainer in the swimming pool. He is an excellent swimming coach and understands kids very well. In spite of having to train 10 kids at least in one batch, he pays close attention to each and every kid and adult and makes sure they learn as much as possible. My daughter didn't know any swimming when she joined but is now able to swim in the deep end without any assistance. And this happened in just 32 days. All credit goes to this patient and kind teacher. If every school in India had even one teacher like Chanchal sir, India would be the foremost in education in the world. If Hyatt is reading this, they should promote him and give him a big raise and treasure such an outstanding coach.

Tiny place with quite average service. I got a head massage done. Didn't seem like they were trained to do it. The service is quite low compared to Taj/ anything comparable. Salons like Truefitt and even I have to say looks have a far better quality of service and at a much better price. Avoid!

I had put my Two Kids into swimming training for 1 month at Hyatt Prana. Paid around Rs.13500 for Each Kid for 16 classes which has to be finished in a month. The morning (9am to 10am) instructor is old and "kadoos" and wasted lot of my kids time. He did not teach kids properly. While my kids were the only one in the morning learning, this instructor did not put enough effort. Just imagine even after putting so much money and two kids being the only one learning, they were unable to learn. He used to enter the pool around 5-10 minutes late. He did not allow the kids inside pool, even in the shallow end, until he was himself in pool. He always cited rules as if he was lawyer and judge in the court himself. There was always a sense of tension and unease with him. After around 11 classes were over I shifted the kids to evening class. One reason was their school opened after summer vacation. This shift was a revelation to me. The evening instructors both are young and good. They are opposite to the morning instructor. Both these instructors take special effort. But alas my small one did not learn swimming sufficiently because the earlier morning instructor wasted most of the classes. The three stars is because of the evening instructors and the good clean infra Hyatt offers. Otherwise I would have given lowest rating of 1 star.

It has been wonderful rich experience in Hyatt Club Prana Kolkata while undergoing Kelarian Spa treatment by Mr Verghese and other Experts since 2015 and onwards. As far as my knowledge goes, this is best rejuvenating process i have ever undergone in Hyatt Prana Club. Music is enchanting, ambience is so soothing and overall everybody demeanour is just so warm and hearty too. Stay blessed You all.

I am a member of hayyat club prana from last 4 years and found it to wonderful gym for work out with lot of other facilities in Kolkata city. I must point out that trainer, other staffs are very cooperative and giving excellent services to all the member's. Particularly trainer Mr partha is always there to help and just because of him I could loose 12 kg weight and doing fine. This place is awesome for me, if I don't come here, I feel guilty and feel like missing the club. Lastly this club prana has done wonder's to me...
