It's in a remote area, and nearly everything is behind a paywall. The internet broadband is non-existent and the wifi they provide is trash. When asked about it, they said it is what it is. The upkeep and maintenance is low, with the lawn being neglected and the decor being mid, never felt like a 5 star. We took a room which had a folding Murphy bed, which I slept on and developed a back itch the next morning, please pay more attention to sanitizing. The view from our windows was also fabulous, overlooking the badly kept lawn and buffet area, due to which the curtains had to be kept shut so people can't see what's going on inside.
They take full advantage of the remote location, because the only way to get a meal is to eat at their restaurant.
The menu is limited, which is not an issue but the prices are exorbitant. There is no universe in which I pay 700 bucks for chicken nuggets. Not going to lie, I semi starved for 2 days.
One of the better Club Mahindra Resorts, it gives you the feeling of being out in the woods. It is a smallish affair but gives you the feeling of being in a much larger space. The rooms are basic but well lit and decently planned which gives you enough space inside the rooms and places to sit as well. The games room is well appointed and the pool is nice and refreshing. The staff is efficient and respond to most of your needs. We visited as a family in early July and I'm heading there again end of the month with friends.
club mahindra resort -- is good -- rooms little smaller and service from house keeping staff outstanding but location not that good as - statue of unity is very far - if u want to statue of unity and u r going here it is not advisable instead of it stay near statue of unity many resorts hotels and very amazing atmosphere.
Wonderful resort. It is small as compared to other CM resorts but we'll maintained and good ambience.
Resort was good. Quiet place. Good to visit in monsoon. Studio Room was good. Swimming pool was small. Food was good. Good for Two days trip. Nothing there except SOU which is also 70 Km far.
A lovely property and well maintained...nice spacious rooms with clean big bathrooms...very courteous and helpful staff...special mention to b made of Ajayji, Rahul Khan, Shiva n Mohidul in F&B. The pool is quite small though n the water a bit murky. There is a lovely hiking trail just outside the property, all the way to a beautiful lake through some farmland n villages. I think the hotel needs to promote this trail more aggressively - if Shiva hadn't told us we wouldn't have known only and would've missed out on a lovely experience. The A/cs in the rooms and the dining room need to b either serviced or replaced - the cooling was not up to the mark. While it improved in the rooms later, the dining room remained slightly uncomfortable. The food was excellent - the spread, the taste and the freshness, all of them. There are some nearby attractions like a lovely waterfall and temples which the hotel staff will guide one to. The Statue of Unity is an hour n half drive away.
Overall definitely worth spending a couple of days at.
Worst Experience Staying here Rooms are untidy and in old condition bad patches on wall.
We had ordered tea and we got it after 45 mins that too cold and in a normal steel container and not in a tea flask or thermos the price they charge for tea are like 5 star properties.

There are issues which need attention by the management.
1. Reservation.
As members we rarely get reservations on the dates we require. Earlier their policy was to earmark the days into various categories in locations as per the season. Now they have changed this policy to make it totally adhoc and make even weekends and local festivals being categorised as higher grades so that members belonging to lower categories rarely get reservations even during non peak seasons at a location. Alternatively they have to book as per higher grades by losing valuable days and getting confirmation only 15 days before the holiday. This policy is utterly ridiculous and against the principles of agreement we had with Club at the time of joining. And they hound you during every vacation to upgrade your membership. THIS POLICY SHOULD CHANGE.
2. Food
Food is extremely costly comparable to 5 star rates and I believe their main income is coming out of this. Considering that most of the members belong to middle class the cost becomes prohibitive particularly when a family group is on vacation and the members are constrained to look for cheaper alternatives which either are non existent in the vicinity and or are un hygienic. The option of cooking food in microwave etc is unattractive since it does not give any freedom for the homemakers from their daily drudgeries even during a vacation. THE RATES FOR FOOD SHOULD BE MADE REASONABLE. Atleast breakfast should be included with the booking.
3. AMC
There has been an exhorbitant rise in AMC every year. Though at the time of our entering they had promised that the rate of increase will be adjusted to the rate of inflation as per wholesale index, members can very well observe that it is not so and fixed on adhoc basis.
THE INCREASE IN AMC SHOULD BE
REASONABLE AND MAXIMUM 5%.
