I had a c-section delivery in Cloud-9 Hospitals Noida, sector-51. A patient expects healing and best treatment at a hospital where they are treated with compassion and empathy but we had a nightmare-like experience there. The surgery went well as my gynaecologist, Dr Renu Kapur, is the best I could have. However, the nightmare started when we were shifted to the room. - the nurses were extremely unprofessional. They would start the IV medicine and forget. So, I had to stay up till my medicine was over, call the nurse to remove it. - they seemed always on their worst behaviour and hardly responded to any query - Lactation consultant was on leave and we were not told. When repeatedly asked for 2 days, the nurse had the audacity to say we are the ones no one else. She came only when our doctor intervened. - when pressing nurse call button, housekeeping staff used to come mostly instead of nurses - on the day of discharge, on asking about paediatrician, we were told he will visit but no one did. We went today again, after confirming availability but on reaching the hospital the lactation consultants were absent AGAIN with no one seemed to have a clue. There are a lot of other issues...when shared with a friend, she told that she had similar experience. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone ever!!
I delivered in C9 and must say it was overall a very good experience. Dr Vinita Gupta is best gynecologist. She did my normal delivery and throughout journey she was so supportive and guided so well. The hospital will also assign nurses to new mothers and newborns. I must remark that Afarin, the nurse who cared for my newborn, was exceptional. She performed an excellent job. She handled my new baby beautifully, and her skills were unquestionably top-notch. Your experience is improved by people like them. Hospital should retain such a large number of employees.
The facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained. The state-of-the-art equipment and technology used in diagnostics and treatment were impressive. The hospital's dedication to patient comfort was evident throughout my stay, from comfortable rooms to attentive housekeeping and catering services.
