Megamalai is an amazing place for a day's outing, far from the madding crowd. Misty mountains, clean and clear lake, tree plantations, several dams are there to enjoy. We have stayed in the Travellers Bungalow maintained by the PWD department, obviously very poorly maintained, requires a lot of improvement. Senthil Tea stall, very near to that Travellers Bungalow offers you Hot Coffee and Tea, Amazing Vadais and tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The other world in our earth.. No mobile towers, no internet.. nice and neat place and not discovered by many people.. so its not much crowded like munnar or kodai.. 20 hair pins to reach this hilltop and the travel will blow up your mind, you can feel the freshness once you reach the hilltop, i recommed to stay one day and enjoy the run rise, from highways you can take a off road trip which will be costing 1300 to 2000 rs by jeep to a mind blowing view point

Good place for people who likes Lakeside and viewpoint sights here...No boating...Better take Rental cars or own cars to this places so that you can stop and take photos in specific places...Also visit Mannalar dam near iravangalar.

Megamalai(Highwavys) nice place to visit a hill station in Tamilnadu Tourism. Most of the people don't know about this place. Road construction going on once its get completed then it will become popular.

Cool place. No proper hotels. Very Few shops only.

I loved the climate of this place... I can't imagine the weather like this...
