U need to have good driving skills to reach at this point esp if u r doing a double 2 wheeler riding that too not on a bike but on a Scooty. Anyways, worth visiting place. Check out the pics. Due to remote location not very crowded even on weekends. So u get time to take ample photos and relax here. Maggi shops are nearby. Few people even trek upto this point. Salute to them. U must be very fit to have a 4/5 km steep hike on uneven stone road. Better be on a bike or scooter. No fee. Open 24/7. 9 kms from mussoorie mall road
Ascent to cloud end is very steep , I will recommend to go there by scooty or bike.
Well it's my personal experience who went on a trip to Mussoorie don't miss Cloud End point. Which is near George Everest who loves sunset and nature lovers They liked this place. My one suggestion is if you stay at Mall road or picture place area so guys you see direction to back side road to cloud end point and lots of distance you can cut out. So be safe and don't miss this beautiful place.
A calm and soothing place with clouds (mostly beneath) amongst the landscape. You can catch a beautiful view of the nearby Shivalik foothills if the sun is blooming. Windy place with fast paced clouds and a lush green ground. Connects George Everest peak and Bhadraj Temple, which are 2 very famous tourist attractions.
Not worth if you're not visiting in monsoon. The entry ticket is 150. You won't see any cotton candies. The view would be similar to any other location in Mussoorie. The road condition is also not good for almost 2 km. There's one museum and picture gallery with some history of Mussoorie from the British time. The place is huge.
First of all .. The road to this "Paradise Lost" is through the forest road uphill (Benog WildLife Sanctuary)... Loved the sunset view ... The clouds were not visible... Usually clouds are available in the early morning or during winter... It was worth spending time there, sitting in the rock ,watching the sun set... Lovely.. There was strong wind blowing with the lush green forest trees seen from top of the Ridge... It's risky to stand at the edge.. The museum is okayish.... The photo gallery is worth seeing... The history is worth reading..
I went to uk first time and google maps showed a route which was quite dangerous and only few peoples were on this route so my suggestions never ever visit first to cloud point go to mussoorie first then opt for this. And about the place it's not worth if it's not cloudy season in uk as you won't get what you want to see. The view is better from the outside so in my opinion don't go inside enjoy the view from outside.
Its a beautiful place to watch the sunset and to chill. Expect crowd here because its quite popular. The road leading to this location is quite narrow and not well built. Quit a bumpy ride and not very safe if you are travelling alone at night specially in a 2 wheeler. You can see a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and also the famous George everest peak.
Cloud End Located in Mussorie Range of Dehradun. The complete address is F285+8GQ Cloud End, Unnamed Road,, Khanij Nagar, Mussorie Range, Uttarakhand 248179.
It was a fun evening. You need to do a short, cool and peaceful trek of a little more than 1 km to reach the everest's house or alternatively there are electric vehicles which take those who would not be able to walk. It was also cleaner than most of
There is this bridge which is in front of a waterfall. It's been years since we used to ride up there. The waterfall has remained the same. However increasing tourism and traffic has started showing evidences. Hope this place remains as it is.
