It's a beautiful clock tower in the middle of the Mangaldai town in Darrang district, Assam. Crowded area with maximum medical stores.
It is a very busy place and the heart of the commercial area of Mangaldai town. The square was earlier known as police point as there is a traffic police point. Earlier it had a brick and mortar British era bridge which we loved in our childhood. The bridge was later replaced by a safer modern concrete bridge but has lost the romance in the process. The street is today known for its rows of well stocked pharmacies and of course Repose

The clock tower is the centre of daily market, near Original Repose bakery. The famous Ram Mandir is just in front of the tower. In the evening it gives tremendous view.
Nice humble place with all the crowd focused in this small area. You get most of the medical shops and electronic shops and clothing shops. They also have some good eateries
