Clifton Inn Resort, Yercaud - Resort hotel in Yercaud - Salem, India

This review is writing for understanding of anyone who wants to stay in this hotel by seeing those photos. The photos are shown in this and real are completely different. Staff is very negligent and rude. Hospitality is bad, when have asked greasier is not working there is no proper response from them. They haven't providing brush, water bottle and towels as per norms. There is no complimentary breakfast. The rooms and staircases are looking old and not maintaining proper and there is scenic view from hotel. The charges are too high and suggesting to book any other good hotel. The ratings are giving out of 10 Cleanness :- 1 Service :- 0 Access :- 1 Food :- 2 Hospitality :- very very poor Over all :- 1

Pathetic place. I did mistake by not checking review and booking this place for our one day stay at Yercaud. Only good this here is the people. Rooms are horribly, I had asked or rather I should say booked room with balcony, they never bothered to give me that. The doors were dusty with so many varieties of insects on them, bathroom taps won't stop if you turn them on and some won't work like washbasin. The beds are so dirty, I was all night worried if they had bed bugs n I will carry it with me. No kettle in room. Hot water won't come even if you wait for hours. Overall such a waste of money. Never ever stay here.

The worst stay experience ever had in my travel journey. We have paid for a suite room and ended with smelly, uncomfortable and unmaintained room. They know the pulse that we reached late couldn't do anything rather staying there, No Amenities we're provided properly and the room was horrible to stay with kids. It seems like the management is handled by different person and the people maintaining there is totally unaware of the scam we are facing.

Totally different from the posts, we can star in a five star with that price. Not worth more than 3000 per night. There is no parking facility, just to park them on the road sides. No complementary breakfast. Wifi will not work inside the rooms. We just stayed the night and got out before 9. Power cuts are prominent.

I recently stayed at this resort for a night, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Despite the high cost, the resort lacked several basic facilities that one would expect. There was no hot water, which made showering quite uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a shortage of essential amenities like soap, tissues, plates, and glasses, making it challenging to even have a basic meal or maintain cleanliness.Furthermore, the absence of door locks was a security concern, and the lack of door mats made the room quite messy. What was equally frustrating was the resort's unwillingness to negotiate or address these issues during my stay.Overall, I cannot recommend this resort to others due to these significant shortcomings, especially given the hefty price tag. It's essential for guests to have a comfortable and safe stay, and unfortunately, this resort fell short of those expectations.

This resort in Yercaud stands out as one of the most disappointing choices. The Wi-Fi is unreliable, there are issues with leaking taps, and the staff's treatment of guests is impolite. Initially, they advertised a "free breakfast," but upon check-in, they imposed charges for every meal. The room itself was extremely uninteresting, resembling a haunted house, and the bathroom lacked running water. It appears that this establishment is engaged in deceitful practices and is not worthy of your hard-earned money. The entire day turned out to be very unpleasant, with no fire camp as promised.

Among all the resorts I have visited so far with relation to my vacation and other trips, I have never ever in my life, come across a resort which is totally opposite to what they publish on their website and other booking platforms. Their customer service I should mention, is 'pathetic' to the core. The people at the reception never pick up the calls or attend to our needs on time. Talking about the rooms too, they are never maintained or cleaned. The bathrooms too, weren't good or clean and almost all the pictures provided by this business in most of the websites are totally fake. It is not what it looks like in real once you get there. Even the road for getting through the main entrance is very poorly maintained. The staff behaviour towards the customers are also rude and bad. In spite of all these, when we wanted to leave this place, they weren't ready to provide us with a refund even for half the price. This kind of unprofessional behaviour in a beautiful hillstation like Yercaud is not tolerable.

Excellent experience we had with our families. The food prepared was extremely good and nice and homely food. We stayed around 30 members. Staffs are good and kind enough and friendly. Really we enjoyed a lot.
