I was highly impressed by the interiors and the grandeur of the place. But what made our stay special was the owner's passion for making specialty dishes for us. In a time when even five-star hotels fail to provide good service, I was astounded by the efforts the staff made to make our stay comfortable. A view of the scenic hills right from the room window, occasional sighting of the toy train and the phenomenal food made our stay wonderful and memorable. Hope to visit this place again soon.

Amazing, wonderful and peaceful. Right from check in to check out. I am amazed to see such a great hospitality. Owner of the property is very humble and down to earth person. If required he himself would not hesitate in providing any support. He is such a great personality that too with supportive and helpful attitude. You will feel like you are visiting your friends/relatives. Apart from this the overall view with lush green valley, toy train visibility from balcony and a peaceful terrace wouldn't let you leave from there. For book lovers they have a big library with a lot of books. Additionally for fitness freak and sports enthusiasts there is a nice place in the property. To sum it up it was an awesome experience visiting this place. I would like to come back and stay here for more days. We stayed at Clifton House for a few days. It's the perfect amalgamation of the prompt services of a hotel and the comfort of a home. The view is amazing and the food is delectable. It is located at a comfortable distance from Soghi Town and Shimla. The rooms are a delight. The library and recreation room are a cherry on top.
One of the best homestay I have come across.The property is well managed amidst the lap of Shoghi.Food and hospitality was awesome and trust me you will feel like it's your second home once you visit. I recommend all travelers to stay and enjoy the hospitality.
Best experience of my life. Stayed in many hotels but the kind of Hospitality shown by the hotel owner and the staff is unmatchable. Lovely location, amazing food and great service. It was my 4th stay here in the past 2 years and I can really say, the food (highly recommended) and the hospitality amazes me every single time. The staff and the owner are really polite and doesn't make you feel any less than your home. I had a really great time with my family. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy the peace of the hills.
