the rooms were decent and the location is also fine, BUT, the service was horrible, the house keeping and room service was very very very bad, if you are looking to just have a bad mood throughout the trip because of the hotel staff not listening and cooperating this hotel is perfect. the receptionists are arrogant, stubborn and don't listen at all. they are all but a good hotel service staff. there card keys get deactivated all the time, and the the receptionists don't even issue a new card... i have stayed in many 5 star accommodations but this is the lowest of all of them... i strongly recommend living in taj or some other hotel but never this.... only live here if it is an absolute must... absolute nightmare...

Its first 4* hotel of lucknow established in 80s.. Best location-in hazratganj! Ample parking..wedding garden,lawns etc. Romms are excellent. Food n service is also excellent. Must visit this hotel.

We held an exhibition at Clarks, and they had the worst service. They turned off the AC for us, they closed the lift and the staircase exits nearby and opened the one far through the back. They made us carry all our suitcases and luggages across the hotel and down the stairs and did not allow us to use the lift. None of the security guards were polite and said the lift is for guests only, not for us. This was the service of a 5-star hotel where the rent of exhibition stalls were very high!!

Feeling well looked after by Saurav and his team at the magnificent and majestic Birendra Mahal. Not only do I have a hacking cough, I have also lost my voice. Yesterday, Saurav offered me whole cloves to soothe my burning throat; today a hot virgin toddy by special request. Even if you are not sick, this drink is guaranteed to warm the cockles of your heart. Loving my stay with Clarks Avadh!

Big brand but worst experience as a traveller. Employees are careless and don't listen in the first call. We made several for inadvertent locking of the washroom door, which was rectified when we asked for management to talk... which they never did. Arrogant and careless staff made it the worst experience. The hotel is old so furniture and other things also get old and not up to the mark.

It is one of the oldest 5-stars in Lucknow. Beautiful interiors take you back to the 90s. Great service as you would expect from a 5-star. Parking was an issue as we didn't find a valet so had to park the car on our own which became an issue when we found out that there is no proper parking space as such and had to park the car in a narrow lane adjacent to the building. The food was decent enough for a 5-star.
