Clafouti Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Location of the resort is perfect! Close to the cliff's edge (beach starts there)! I was able to see the beach directly from my room! Rooms are spacious (built in Kerala style!) and property is well maintained. Friendly staff! You can directly start your cliff walk from the back of the hotel. The beaches are so beautiful! If you are staying there for an extended period of time, getting a 2 wheeler would be really useful for traveling within the Varkala area!

Very nice location alongside the cliff you see the beach . Rooms and ambience is great especially during evening till late night. Do check category of rooms prior booking. Restaurant food is great. Alongside the path there are numerous restaurants and shops. I would prefer to eat in clafouti itself but do try other restaurants for liquor and taste. Do mind checking the seafood in nearby restaurants as they are cleaned gills so can't say how fresh are they ,as stocked in ice. Personally I liked this stay , also there are other luxury hotels nearby but depending on budget you choose wisely as you are not here to enjoy the hotel room .Beach is awesome , so clean and such nice crowd. Do visit Varkala .

Their main USP is the location. It's simply the best since it's located on top of the varkala cliff beach where the Ocean's endless gaze towards the horizon is breathtaking. On either side of the resort are shoppers delight as there are so many shops to explore. And their evening scene is set up, all the cafes and the restaurants on the way will definitely give you Thailand vibes. It's a really awesome place. The only drawback was their restaurant which is usually packed and hence your orders can take longer than usual

Good location. But approach road is very narrow. Room was dirty. Bed sheets were very dirty. Blanket provided was small . Did not provide bath towels. Wash room door was very tight, noisy and had no latch. Restaurant is only good for nonvegetarians. Had very bad experience.

The location of hotel is good but you need to travel for at least 20 minutes to reach the beach. Heritage wooden rooms are worst. They are smelling and even bathroom is not getting locked or closed. Its making a huge noise. View from Hotel is good.

Very wrost managment i ever seen in my whole. very disgasting managment ever. without any informatin release the booking and ussing salang languages on call. very bad customer support. please dont choose this organisation in any hotel booking. very bad hotel managment. employes use bad word on call for booking.

Awesome perfect location for restaurant and rooms. . Neat clean aesthetically comfortable. Well behave staffs. Excellent ayurveda massage centre. Within budget. Well maintained . In main market but in silence. I loved my 4 days solo stay. I took partial sea view room.

Lovely location, amazing surroundings. The rooms are very stuffy and outdated. They should start refurbishing the rooms. They have an ayurvedic centre where they do massages and it was the best experience. Must try.
