Civil Hospital Ambala City - Government hospital in Ambala - Ambala, India

I have had the WORST experience at this hospital. Firstly the infrastructure needs urgent renovation like cantt civil hospital. Very poor condition 0f rooms, and washrooms leak & stink. Secondly I started my Pregnancy journey with them thinking I will have a normal delivery but had to go thru an emergency c-section. In the 21st century, thwy still. give you classical/vertical incision that it too difficult to heal. After my delivery, i developed surgical site infection in which my stiches didn't heal. due to non sterilized equipments used during the operation. So within a month, I had to go thru another surgery from the private hospital so that all the pus could be removed. It took me 3 months to recover. In addition to this the doctors are rude and won't give u enough time cz there is too much chaos & rush... I will not recommended anyone this hospital especially if u are Pregnant. Go to civil cantt instead. It is way better. Or any good pvt hospital like Bansal or Garg Maternity.

It's a hospital with good building and all departments are decided in well mannered. Emergency department is aside from hospital. So please visit and parking facility all available with parking charges. One caffe also there at corner side.this hospital also treat COVID-19 patients. Little crowded but you can go for treatment.thanks

The staff and doctors are very professional and sincere. It seems they are overloaded with patients. There were so many of them and the doctors were less. The staff itself was very helpful and honest with their work. Still people were cribbing and scolding them. I wonder how doctors managed to maintain their motivation to work, in such poor infrastructure. I wish they get a good building with more facilities soon. But overall very impressed with the work culture. Government is sincerely monitoring these things now.

Absolutely great and very good facilities... Staff is very nice. Prices for tests are very affordable specifically for Ct scan etc. Very friendly staff

Good hospital. Staff & doctors are cooperative. Vehicles parking fees in government hospital Parking Slip photo attached. Before their were No parking charges. Nowadays they are charging 10rs for 2 wheeler vehicles for parking just for 15minutes On Compulsory basis.....

On the verge of upgradation. Soon 100 bedded extension will be open for patients. Availability of all the medicines for every class of patients make the treatment easy for the patients. Doctors of almost all the specialities also help patients find treatment of various illnesses under one roof. Oxygen supply through medical gas pipeline on almost every bed, is a facility which is not available at all the government hospitals of the state.
