We had an amazing experience at City lights by musafir. The dormitory and rooms are both safe and really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. And we find the place really clean and homely. There is a chilling common area and a beautiful terrace with an amazing view.
Citylights by Musafir is definitely one of the best places to stay at. I stayed here for 2nights and the stay was super comfortable. The rooms are very cozy and the washrooms are very maintained clean. There is no kitchen available at the moment but there are plenty of restaurants nearby too. This place is wonderfully placed and very very near to all the main places. Everything is in a 5mi walkable distance from this place. There is a slight problem with 2 wheeler parking but if you are lucky you can get one space, but if there are 2 bikes already parked then you will have to park it on the road. The view from the hostel is amazing too and very calm. The hosts are wonderful and very very supportive and helpful. They go all ears to gain feedbacks and understand how they can make the stay more comfortable for future.
During my visit to Udaipur, I had the pleasure of staying at Citylights by Musafir, and it exceeded my expectations. The hostel provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout my stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from the terrace, which offered panoramic vistas of the cityscape. We loved our experience of Udaipur with this stay. It is more a hostel than a hotel but they accommodated our group of 5 members which included 3 senior citizens. There were double bed rooms unlike a hostel and we found the rooms were clean and neat. The location is perfect. It is very close to Ganghour ghat, the palace and all the tourist spots. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop and then the evening walk to the Ganghour ghat which is hardly 200m away. The hosts were very helpful and had suggested us to some of the events and attractions happening in the area. There are a lot of options to eat in the locality, which was a plus.
worst experiences I ever had.. there is no room service... No way to contact reception..... Even for a bottle of water you have to fill it on your own... TV also doesn't work... Hot water also does not come for full day... If you ask for any service at reception they will say no to provide..

For this place, even 5 stars are less..it should be 10 stars! I was travelling solo and chose a female dorm. The rooms are very hygienic and cozy. The bed quality is fantastic! It was very peaceful with no noise from outside. Also very safe. The staff is highly helpful and will guide you throughout.I would recommend this to everyone who is travelling solo or with family.
We really enjoyed staying at the hostel! The staff are all super friendly and the place is amazingly clean. Really hot showers, sometimes hard to come by in India, and comfy beds. We arrived early in the morning and were allowed to chill in the common area before our rooms were ready. They even made us a chai which was a lovely touch. The common areas are great to chill out (inside and outside) with games and books as well. They also have the cutest pug! Just a small thing, if you are on the third floor it is a little noisy from the common area but not that late into the night so not too much of a problem! Would defo recommend staying here in Udaipur!
