CITY TOWER (unit of Sree Ambika Hospitality) - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

Been using this hotel for short stays (2-3 days) for last very many years. For past few weeks, I was staying there almost every week for a couple of days. Despite of this, the staff was very uncooperative and rude. They do not value customers at all. You come, pay, stay, and get lost - they don't give a ....

Had a decent stay here at City Tower. It's a typical budget hotel with basic facilities. Decent South Indian buffet breakfast served every morning. Service was good and location is convenient if you need to catch a train from Chennai Central. Otherwise the street is quite noisy and crowded. The view from the rooms was quite an eyesore.

We did not stay here. We only had lunch here. The food was great. Loved the taste and quality. The quantity was also ample. Must give a try if you are looking for a place to eat around Chennai central.

The best part of the hotel is the staff, who are nice and polite. Another good thing is the location, which is a walkable distance from Dr. MGR Central. The restaurant is good, but service could be better. The rooms, though reasonably clean, are outdated by about 20 years. What is surprising is that the reception area is quite modern and impressive. I wish they gave the rooms the same treatment.

Absolutely horrible. Only plus point is the location. AC deluxe room has stained beds. AC in some of the rooms are not cooling. Wifi is very poor. Each user has to get a different username and password and the range is totally unbearable. I would honestly not prefer to stay there again.

Good place to have a one day stay, I have staying in this hotel from a very long time. After COVID their restaurant is closed and not yet opened. Suggest to reopen them as early as possible. The property needs a facelift and reconditioning since more people will opt this particular hotel in the long run. Off late observing more mosquitoes problem even inside the rooms. Travel desk support is really good work.

I had stayed with my family, rooms was spacious as we not imagine..They suggest for 3 people to stay in Execuitve room it's was nice and clean ..Front desk are really supportive next time when I come I will stay at ur place

Very shabby. Pricey to charge 2700 for an AC room. Towels were from ancient Indus valley era. The bath was disgusting; rusted pipes, broken shower, leaking water from the sink. Very poor lightning. Nuisance from a nearby religious place playing songs from 4 AM till 10 PM. pillows dirty.shampoo and soap must be from China! The only POSITIVE: AC WORKING, HOUSEKEEPING STAFF POLITE, BREAKFAST GOOD!
