City Palace, Alwar, Rajasthan, India . Location : Alwar, Rajasthan, India. . Built by : Rao Raja BAKHTAWAR SINGH in 1793 A.D . Alwar was a princely state of Kachwaha Dynasty (Clan : Naruka) in Rajputana agency during the British Raj .
The palace is magnificent.
City Palace City Palace is a beautiful campus: there is a Krishna temple in the back of the gate. Right behind it is the Mousse umbrella and other sights. This palace was built in 1793 by King Bakhtawar Singh. Tourists can not live without praising its beauty. In the entire building, the government offices of District Collector and Police Supervisor are occupied. By the way, there is a three-hole divider at the top floor of this building, which is visible from 10 am to 5 pm, there is a holiday on Friday. In the first hall there are royal apparel and clay toys, the second hall has pictures of many well-known kings of Central Asia. Pictures from TIMUR to Aurangzeb are engaged in this hall. Armed material is displayed in the third hall. The main attraction of this hall is the swords of Akbar and Jehangir. Here is the special attraction of 'Two Swords in a Miyan' of this museum. Behind the city palace there is a small beautiful reservoir, called Sagar. Two-storey camps have been built around this. Stairs have been made up to the water of the pond. This reservoir was used for bathing. Here is the tradition of feeding pigeons to pigeons. There is also a series of temples with reservoirs. On the right is a memorial of King Bakhtawar Singh and a marble monument in memory of the martyrs. It is named after the name of Mousi Rani, wife of Raja Bakhtawar Singh, who had become a sati with the Chita of King Bakhtawar Singh.
A monument but not maintained.
Having history of Narukaa's Clan (One of the kind of Rajput category) for more than 250 year, feeling proudy to be Indian, but being Rajasthani is more for me.
