City Lodge - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Very bad. They won't accept online payment or online price. They will show one price online, but they will tell you another price upon reaching there. On top of that, they are not willing to reduce even 1 rupee on what price they quote after reaching there... PATHETIC

Need to improve the room service and behaviour of the hotel management

Not a single thing was clean there. Behaviour of staff is arrogant at its best. Towel they had provided is more dirty than a floor mat in house. Washroom was not clean. Its like a horrible stay paying money. Don't book this property because at the end you will get disappointmemt only.

It was dirty, everything was dirty even the bedsheets and pillow covers.. As if they haven't washed them for months. I have allergy and got sick. Oyo customer care executive, while booking, said it was a deluxe room, clean big and decorated. It was exactly the opposite. There was even mold on the wall just near the bed! We booked for 8 nights, to top it all, after 4 days, one morning they asked us to empty the room because some "Khelo India" event has booked all the rooms! This is outrageous and pathetic and unacceptable behavior. Oyo told us they will return the 4 days of rent in a week or 2 weeks, and I got a message that they will charge 1300+ Rs for cancellation, despite the fact that we haven't cancelled, the hotel management did! After that we had to find another hotel, hopefully we found one.

For the condition of rooms, tarrif is too high. A double bed for 1800, that to no complements free, not even a litre of water nor tea.

Too good. The manager and all staffs are very good. Always ready to help. Its safe also.they have a big big dinning hall.also have wifi.They also allow other foods. I ordered in Swiggy. The atmosphere is wonderful....clean, wide reception with a Wiring lounge....

I was about to give 3 star but gave 1 star extra only because of the staff. So I stayed there for 4 days so I can give you a proper review. 1st of all I booked my room via oyo and I opted for dual bed deluxe room but on reaching the lounge we were offered a single beded normal room.And on inquiring them about it they replied " this is the largest room we have". I had some urgent work to do so I didn't argued with him. The lodge was good ,room was good but they didn't provided anything like water bottle, dustbin, kettle. So at the end I wasn't happy with the service I got but the staff there is really polite and helpful. Anyways good budget lodge in the city.
