I have undergone Gallbladder removal surgery in city Hospital hamirpur. The hospital is very well located on the by pass road hamirpur. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and reliable in their capability. The surgeons, nurses and support staff were all highly professional, caring and soft spoken. The hospital is very well maintained and clean. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical treatment Thank you for your dedication and commitment to patient well-being
I went there after a relative's recommendation. There are things I like as well as I don't like.. First of all they have big board on the top of their building which says that they accept Him Care Card. But there is a catch. If you don't mention that you have Himcare Card at the time of admission of the patient then they don't provide you any benefits of card. I was concerned about my relative's health at the time of admission so I forgot to tell them that I had Himcare card. Neither they ask by themselves for it. So I have to pay all money by myself. And they don't give you proper bill. Just a handwritten bill with so many charges like Consultation charges then again consultation and drug charges.. Despite of bill you have to pay additionally for some injections. So overall bill is much more almost 1.5 times of bill. Even at the lift a patient was stuck because lift stopped working. It took almost 10 minutes for them to rescue and the lady at reception was taking it very casually while the person was asking her to fix the lift issue. I wonder what will happen if a person is a heart patient. Luckily he had a phone otherwise nobody would care or even know that a person is stuck.There should be a alarm to raise if lift is stucjmk and it should have camera too so that stuck person can be rescued within 2-3 minutes. So I used lift for my patient as we don't want to stuck there. Now comes the positive side. The nurses and doctor are very good. Nurses are available 24*7.They come immediately when you raise a issue to them. They timely check patient's BP, temperature, SPO2 etc.. Nurses treat patients with a genuine heartwarming smile which I liked the most because it helps patient psychologically to think that he is going to be okay soon. Cleanliness in the hospital is also very good. One thing I hate about nurses and doctors is they don't wear any dress or white coat. So if u come to meet a patient you have to randomly guess sometimes who would be a nurse. Overall I am happy with treatment they provide to the patient. So I am giving 3 star because these are some genuine issues which I raised specifically Himcare card issue.

We had a very comfortable experience with the Doctors and the support staff. Statrting from the appointment till the completion of the surgery, the complete process is hassle free, even after the surgery the doctors kept guiding us through the phone. From our perspective the best thing about the City Hospital is their attention to details and the personalised care which they provide to the patients.
