The food was okay and so was the service. It is a nice place to relax, located in an area that is quiet and away from the city. We tried the fish thali and the curries lacked much taste. It was a little confusing to find the location despite using Maps, better signboards should be implemented.

we had the Bhatkar Thali and it was truly value for money... taste of food was excellent. service took long as there were very less servers... restaurant by and large very stuffy.

Excellent place to have Authentic goan food. Thoroughly enjoyed Bhatkar thali, very reasonable yet best in content and taste. Food is tasty especially Surmai fry, Clams, Chicken cafreal, Solkadi. Calm ambience. Overall great experience, must visit.

Good quantity and looked appealing, but the fish served was stale. Had the Chonok fish thali... Average taste.. .. Not as per the hype created on social media... Chonok fry, shell fish and prawns lacked freshness .. The coconut in the Prawn Curry tasted as if it was made with desiccated coconut... Lady finger vegetable was good... We also ordered Dal Fry which was salty. Will not recommend anyone for a fish meal. Since the restaurant is situated on a hill, the short travel was pleasant.

Good experience overall. Pleasant ambiance and a nice place to visit with family/friends. Would recommend this place if you are looking to have a Fish Thali as there are a variety of Fish Thali's available. Fish items were tasty and Chicken starters were also pretty good.

The owners want to bite more than chew. Had to wait for 1.5 hrs to get my ordered food. Then another hour to get my table cleared and get my bill. Payment of bill was also a nightmare. 3 people handling the payment and yet inefficient. The bhatkar chonak fish thali was terrible at rs.950. The food was served cold. The chonak fish was as hard as a cardboard and no salt. The chicken was tough the prawns in the curry were not fresh. No vegetables included. Boiled egg and omlette were included in the fish thali. The waiters and cleaners are running like headless chickens with no directions. There should be a manager to ensure customers are getting the service. The Owner looked rugged with his shirt open and sweating like a pig and just waiting at the bar to collect money. The place can do with better lighting and cleanliness. The moment u enter you don't get a good vibe. No air-conditioning and the placed is congested and cramped for style Quality of food not great. Will never ever go there again. Heard ownership has changed. They used to be good but not anymore.

This is a very good restaurant in margao. The food choices are splendid. Mostly serve thali in afternoons. The drink prices are moderate. The food servings for main course are pretty big. There is ample parking for vehicles. Credit cards are accepted.
