CIMAR - THE WOMEN'S HOSPITAL,EDAPPAL - Hospital in Edappal - Malappuram, India

The most judgmental and insensitive doctor I have ever consulted in my entire life!!! Mr KK Gopinath. He charged whopping 3000 Rs for consultation alone and we thought he might be that great. We have been consulting multiple doctors in Bangalore and decided to visit Mr Gopinath for an opinion, based on our parent's suggestion, and needless to say I regret going there, waking up 5 AM in the morning and travelling all the way from Kannur to Edappal. He is too old, blindly privileged and regressive to even continue in the medical field and its high time he retire. The consultation room had this person Gopinath and 2 other lady doctors to accompany him. Right after telling the first sentence that we've been TTC, he started asking insensitive questions and judgements and what not! I was shocked to see how a doctor of his age and experience speak to his patients this way and he was not even letting me finish my sentences. I did tell him this is not how you treat your patient , but sadly I broke down emotionally in front of that guy.I should've actually left the room the moment he started showing his regressive mindset. I really wanted to file an official complaint against him, but just because I don't have the time & energy to go behind that, I did't do it. But if at-least one person reads this, just know that he is not worth your visit.Your mental health will be ruined by this doctor. And I'm not sure why on earth those 2 lady doctors are forced to sit next to him and see this torture , don't they know his way of dealing with patients are extremely toxic and unprofessional???? You are learning from the worst doctor ever let me warn you. Just experience and age do not deserve respect. Character does. he might've successfully made people have babies at his prime, but that doesn't make him a good doctor. Please consider other centers like Aster, Manipal or Amrita and stay away from this family run regressive hospital. Needless to say the flush in the toilet itself was broken when we went there sitting hours in the train. CIMAR must be getting tonnes of money from the ART treatment, why can't they use it to maintain the hospital well?? And Mr Gopinath, you should know your privilege and understand that, without getting to know the partner well enough and without being financially secure, trying to have babies right after marriage is stupidity. And know that patients who visit you are already sad, it is a basic skill of a doctor to be empathetic towards their patients. Your job is not to show that you are the greatest doctor in this filed who knows everything- only an insecure person do that. First do not do any harm, isn't that you learned first year in medical school? You have done enough harm to me with one single consultation, and for me you don't deserve to be called as a doctor! Sorry to say this.

Many thanks for compassionate attention and care from doctours, nurses and other staffs from CIMAR. There are not enough words for me to express my gratitude. After three consecutive miscarriage, we had consulted Gopinathan Sir. He gave us confidence and proper guidance to avoid another miscarriage. Considering precaution, after conceiving, we decided to stay at hospital till delivery. On 16 Feb 2023 we became parents of twin baby boys. It was a great feeling that we step into new phase of our life. The support and care from Dr. Lipi Madhusudanan madam and Dr. Swapneel Patil sir are remarkable. They are very friendly and calm. And supported us to build confident and over seven months stay at CIMAR feel like homely. The support from Mrs. Sheeba (physiotherapist) is outstanding. She regularly visited me with smiley face and gave me proper guidance.After delivery, severe shoulder pain over come by the great support from sheeba madam.The physiotherapy department is fully equipped with staff and facilities. The nurses from 6th floor are just amazing and they considered us like a family member. We cannot forget the support given by these nursing staffs. We highly recommend this hospital with our experience. Thank you CIMAR for all care and support...!!!

My wife recently delivered our baby girl at CIMAR Hospital Edappal, and we had an exceptional experience. Dr. Lipi Madhusudanan was our consultant, and her support and motivation were invaluable throughout the entire process, including the delivery. The entire CIMAR team works together seamlessly, and their friendly and charming demeanor made us feel comfortable and cared for. What impressed us the most was the personalized care provided by Dr. Lipi, who personally conducted all the pregnancy scans. This direct involvement made a significant difference in our consultations and added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, CIMAR Hospital introduced us to a physiotherapist as part of the pregnancy care program.The physiotherapist played a vital role in providing guidance and exercises to my wife, ensuring she stayed healthy and comfortable throughout her pregnancy. It was an innovative approach that we greatly appreciated.

The team CIMAR in Edappal Hospital is something AMAZING I could say with my real time experience, not only mine, many of my relatives and friends. If you trust them, have believe in them....then everything works in a magical way. A special salute to Dr. Gopinathan, Dr. Swapnil, Dr. Lipi and all Gyno team without naming each one of them. One team I should highlight and appreciate without any limit is, of course, the nursing team while we got admitted and got treated in second floor of new block. Each and every nurses are SOOOO nice and make us feel of home and I had no worries to leave my wife and baby with them while I returned to my job abroad. Hats Off to you guys...... Sincerely, Faizal. I would like to convey my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Gopinathan Dr. and his team at CIMAR in helping me realise my desire to become a mother. I strongly believe that Dr Gopinathan has the touch of God. I would like to thank the doctors including Doctor Lipi and Dr. Swapnil Doctor who took care of me from the 3 months of pregnancy. Also would like to thank my physiotherapist who was very loving and the excercise were also very helpful. The scanning from 3 months was tension free due to Lipi Doctor who helped me be at ease during the scans. The positive attitude and friendly approach of the doctor also helped me whenever I was tensed. Special mentions to the doctors and nurses at the NICU who took really good care of our baby who was born pre term. Riyaz doctor who only was ready to discharge my baby after she gained weight. The amount of gratitude said won't be enough. The whole team of nurses at the 2nd floor who checked in on my baby and me, thank you. The cleaning staff who kept our room clean, thank you. The staff at the reception, pharmacy, nurses at the lab, lift, who kept the procedures seamless, thank you. The whole team of Gopinathan Dr really deserve a big gratitude.

Thank you CIMER edappal for all the support and caring. From my 5th months of pregnancy, am consulting Dr.Lipi mam. Really i don't know how to thank her..... I couldn't have done it without her. When I came to you , your pleasant face , possitive attitude, friendly talk made me tension free. In this mother's day i was became a happy mother. We are blessed with a baby boy. Am so so so grateful to you mam ... You teach me each and everythings , you deeply cleared all my minimal doubts. After every scanning and consulting I felt that you are my sister . I had a great experience in CIMAR. I had an abortion the first time at my 18th week. It was at that time I was admitted at edappal hospital after my worst experience at a hospital in palakkad.Dr. K K Gopinathan sir was my gynaec.He and his team supported a lot duriing the time..Then now I had my second pregnancy.Dr. KKG was my guide this time too. At my 33rd week I was admitted at the hospital due to certain reasons. From the time till my delivery the staffs, nurses overthere, their caring towards us is to be appreciated. I had my delivery a month before my due date. It was a girl baby. All the doctors Dr Gopinath,Dr.Lipi mam, Dr.Sreehari, Dr. Swapnil their care for us is much valuable. Their care towards my baby when she was at the NICU, especially the 6th floor nurses, we are much thankful to them. To all who are waiting for a baby, I will surely recommend CIMAR hospital for their healthy and happy pregnancy. Once again thanks to the entire team of CIMAR.
