Cigad Hotel and Resort - Resort hotel in Mira Bhayandar - Thane, India

I have been ere multiple times over the last ten years. Their food has always been yum, esp. the bombil fry and prawns curry..even the veg puloa was yummy. proximity to the beach is definitely a plus point. even the view from the gazebo area is fab. ample parking space. Only thing i think they need to work on is the cleanliness and maintenance, i recommend a deep clean of the rooms and drawers, airing of the rooms esp in monsoons to remove the musty mouldy smell. Swimming pool too can be cleaned a little and tiles need to be fixed better. other than that the staff - Mr. Roy, Mr, Leslie, Jackson and the two aunties who make the yummy food are a delight. they made arrangements for all that we asked for. Our family totally enjoyed.

Worst experience to talk with reception while booking.... Very arrogant and asking if u book from Make my trip or any other service we will not entertain. U have to book directly here, where amount is rs.1500 more than app. Can offer.

Nice place. But i found a drawer full of stubbed cigarettes. I don't think the room service cleans the drawers. But the size of rooms you get for the cost is humongous. Can be cleaner. The sheets were not fresh. Bathroom fittings were broken. Bathrooms didn't have privacy. We had to cover the window with towels.

Nice views. Quick service. Clean Resort. A bit old now, but still very comfortable.

Best location, spacious rooms, good air conditioning, perfect sized swimming pool. Good non veg and veg food. Staff is very polite and helpful. Looking at the property, it seems this was a happening place before pandemic started.....it will take sometime to gain momentum again. Gave 1 star less as the bathroom cleanliness was not upto mark. I was fortunate to meet the owners at the property when we arrived. Very kind people. I wish all the best to Cigad. Hope to see it return to glory soon.

Location is decent for a family stay or a group of 10 or more, swimming pool look good from out side not that clean and way to much of chemicals in it eye and nose would feel the burn sensation.. food was yum but was bit expensive with t&c that you can order food only till 9 pm in the night.! There was good water supply there was no power cut outs but air conditioning in each room was a little dull.. location is worth it to visit next time as well if incase you have your own vehicle cause public transportation also has limits. The best part is beach is on a walking distance like 5/8 min of walk

Better check with this third class hotel multiple times if your booking is confirmed if you have done it via fraud apps like make my trip..they will deny it when you reach even if you have booked it weeks ago . There are many beautiful hotels down the hill in uttan with great service.let this hotel rust in this old hill..like the old man in the reception AVOID AVOID AVOID Going to file a case against make my trip and this third class hotel. They blame each other but the fact of the matter is how is make my trip taking bookings weeks in advance and the hotel denies it even as an instant notification of booking goes by the app to them when they are empanelled with them.. they may blame each other as much as they want, going to drag both the parties to the consumer court for breach of trust, mental agony, online fraud and claim an hefty sum in the court and make sure to call them both in all dates at Andheri court for spoiling my marriage anniversary. Avoid avoid avoid

EXCELLENT customer service despite being understaffed, the manager is very helpful and accomodating, they always call before closing the kitchen, provide extra blankets and pillows and locking the main gate at night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is scenic and food is great value for money, complimentary breakfast is simple yet delicious! Overall: a happy experience!
