Churni Mamatamayi Picnic Garden - Park in Kathaura - Nadia, India

This park is located beautifully by the river Churni. The nearest Railway station is Kalinarayanpur in Sealdah - Lalgola section. I would like to share my view about the site: 1. Although the park is a nice one, but I feel it is not big enough to accommodate more than 3 to 4 groups, especially if the group's are big ones. 2. The condition of that road which connects the park to the Ranaghat- Aranghata main road is not upto the mark. This stretch is narrow, bumpy and not fit for four-wheelers. 3. When I made my maiden visit to the park in a winter morning at about 11 o'clock, I found the park locked. A notice board informs the visitors the daily schedule of the park and the contact number of the authorities. Overall, it's a nice getaway in the lap of nature.

Great Place For Picnic Cz Of Beside river.. Think deep Take Peace like heaven

It's a real cool place,calm and quiet. The river Churni flows beside this park. An outstanding environment is here! In a word,it can be said a full of serene. Anyway,the park has a lot of room to stroll everywhere. It has a nice sitting place,resting room,wash room and well organised sanitation as well. It has a cooking place too. A lot of trees and greenish environment are here,around this park. This place is fully healthy,I mean it's fully pollution free area. The Communication to this place is somewhat good. Anyone can come to this park by the river way or one can came by the bicycle or motorcycle .

Good place to have picnic in winter. But the entry fee seems to be bit high. Communication is a menace. The caretaker is not easily available.
