Chung Wah Restaurant - Featured Reviews (1264)
Chung Wah in Koramangala is a go-to spot for lovers of Indo Chinese cuisine. The simple decor. The must-try dishes include the Dancing Dragon prawns, Hunan chicken or prawns, chicken dumplings, spicy noodles soup, and Mixed fried Rice. One of the major concerns with this outlet is parking, as it can be a bit of a hassle to find a spot nearby. However, the staff is extremely polite and welcoming, making up for any parking inconvenience. They are always willing to guide customers through the menu and suggest dishes that suit their preferences. While most of the dishes served at Chung Wah are impressive, there are a few letdowns. For example, the Nasi Goreng did not meet expectations and left a lot to be desired. At times, the restaurant can also be a little unhygienic, which can be a turn-off. Lastly, some of the dishes served at Chung Wah are not worth the price tag. You may feel that certain items are overpriced compared to their taste and quality. Despite these minor shortcomings, Chung Wah remains a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. Overall, Chung Wah in Koramangala is a decent spot for those who love Indo Chinese cuisine. The staff's warm hospitality and the restaurant's ambiance make up for any shortcomings in food quality. So, if you're in the area and looking for a delicious meal, be sure to give Chung Wah a try.
The food was tasty but tasted more like Indian cuisine. The staff is helpful and polite but expected a certain delay in food being served. The place is not that big so might look crowded but can rate 3/5 for efforts.
I had lot good to expect when i entered but it's below average. The chowmin was like how someone makes it at home broken in small pieces. The wanton soup and the Chicken was fine. Momo's again was below average. I have had better momos on the road side for rs 70. The momo chutney had a stake smell when asked to check they said it's the sesame smell. ( Like anyone know the smell of a sesame and a stake tomato chutney) The chilli fish was good but the entire good they used enormous amount of MSG so the taste comes from there which will make u dehydrated like anything. Desert again was very average as they didn't even heat up the brownie. They just gave half a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a cold brownie. Definitely not going there again but I do not recommend this place for the price they are charging.
Very good quality food, and excellent presentation. The prices are reasonable for quality.
Well Delicacies served in the most subtle place. Bang on spices, Asian touch, ok satisfying food! Simple and peaceful. Crowd, ambience, food - 06/10. Have tried flat thai fryed rice which was not up to the mark / chicken dumplings ware good , Dancing Dragon prawns was good , wasn't heavy to the stomach. But the service was very slow .
Food is good for non-Indians, you should try it here.
Decent ambiance and best food Went for family dinner (4 adults + 1 kid and had good time Tried spring rolls , spinach crispy chicken must try Mamek - Indonesian style noodles , Thai chicken curry with sticky rice combo it was too gud , Hakka noodles for my 4 yr old perfectly made to suit his taste buds And chicken garlic fried rice.
Always one of the best option for Chinese. Really like the taste & service. Major concern is parking, which may you can find on near by streets. Overall experience was good. You can give a try.
