This temple is a wonderful temple having Carvings on wood . It is sittuated in a small hill which is not big. Here God is Shiva . This temple has a village green atmosphere. This One Temple in Sarvam Swayambhu Shiva Pratishtha. The temple is noted for its wooden sculptures. The deity faces of Shiva is to the east . The temple have other murthis like Vishu , Parvathi , Ganpathi ,Swami Ayappan , Subramanyaswami,etc . All murthis in the temple is syambhu except Parvathi Devi . The temples history is ..... About 1500 years ago , A women was mowing the grass Then to sharpen the sickle she rub it on the stone she found there . Then blood is found on stone (shil) . She ran and fall down and dead . After some years a king wanted to make Puja for the astami in the month kumbham. When he sleep he so a dream that on the east of the hill there is a small stone which have Shiva's present. So he came there and make Puja . He made the temple . Inside the temple we can see architect in wood in the style of dravid . All murthis is craved on the wood . It's a beautiful temple

A good temple showing the culture of Hinduism. The main dinety here is the one of the 3 main gods, the god of death Mahadevan or also known as Shiva. Taking photos or videos inside the temple is not allowed. The craft work inside the temple is beautiful. The craftsmanship of it is extraordinary. The various designs representing the religious story is crafted on wooden structures surrounding the dinety. The god of death is known for his anger.
