Chrompet - Train station in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

Chrompet Railway Station is well located on the GST main road. Station is neat and clean, well maintained. This station has lift and escalator facilities and pass through bridge to cross the road easily. Bus stops are located nearby to the station exit. MIT college, Rela, Balaji hospital, Vettri theatre, and Chromepet shopping centre places like Nalli, pothys, saravana are placed near to this station.

Servers needs of at least 5 suburb locality, Chrompet, Hastinapuram, Nemilichery, part of Nagalkeni, part of Chitlapakkam. Foot over bridge has made things safer, but it is not helpful for old age and physically challenged. There is a lift that take you from foot over bridge to platform, but you have to climb flight of stairs up/down to get on/down the foot over bridge There is pay and use toilet, on odd days it will not be clean. The station used to have no outlet, now they have at least 3 stall selling packaged food and stuff, I wonder why! 2 is more than enough for this station. Chengalpattu fast stops here Kanchipuram fast doesn't stop here Many people boarding Chengalpattu train prefer this station cause bus stop is next door, not even 50 meters

The station is neat the restrooms are not well maintained it has two platforms and 2-3 shops for refreshments and it has the staircases to reach different platforms since chrompet is a developing district its becoming crowded nowadays. For getting a ticket you have to climb upstairs no matter which platform you are in it even has a parking to accomdate a decent number of vehicles.

Chrompet Railway station is near to Sarvana store and Faruuzi Resturant. The ticket counter is on the first floor. On the same floor, there are many vegetable vendors. There is also an IRCTC WATER VENDING MACHINE for water refilling. It's clean and pretty decent station.

Station located next to the road. So it very easy to reach next to bus stop. 4 platforms. 1 and 2 are for local train. 3 and 4 are for express and fast. All Local trains will stop here except fast trains. It was located between Tambaram sanatorium and pallavaram station. Good place.

Easily Accessible station as the bus stop is adjacent to the station. The are two tickets counters here . One is present near the railway gate near the station and another is present in the station where you'll have to climb the stairs.Auto stands are present near by the station and commutation from and to the station is really easy.Usually there is train for every 10 minutes during the peak hours.The ticket counter is the station is moderately crowded throughout the day.

One of the good station has 4 platforms. From station right side Radha nagar, left side main road. Escalator facility available.
