Chowrasta Store Wines is the oldest wine shop there is, where else will you find a HERITAGE WINE Shop!! This shop was established in 1900, hence expect some good old wines. Quite a necessity in the Hill station, specially during the Winters.

I cannot imagine that this place was established in 1900! The shop is absolutely essential for a hill station. Thanks to this shop its quite convenient to purchase alcohol if you are staying at hotels in the Darjeeling mall area. Their stock of scotch whiskey and rum is quite decent. Be advised that the shop closes at 8pm and also only accepts cash payments.
Good material woolen clothes yet some outlets are extremely pricey. Good for evening stroll. Shiva mandir is very close.
