Chowman (Sodepur) - Chinese restaurant in Kolkata, Khardaha - 24 Paraganas North, India

I have already been to other outlets of Chowman in Kolkata and I had no doubt that they will live upto the bar already set. Interiors are well done, staff is well mannered, washrooms are clean, serving time is not too long and finally, the food is tasty. Location is an added advantage. Set on the BT ROAD, Sodepur. Parking also should not be much of a trouble. Though we took a cab to and fro. Cannot say much about any particular facilities available for specially abled guests.

This restaurant is truly exceptional! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The service is impeccable, with the waitstaff being both friendly and attentive to our every need. The food is simply divine, with each dish being cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Had dinner at this place. We ordered chicken corn soup , golden fried prone , mocktails, mixed fried rice, fish , sweet & sour chicken & devils pork. Pork & the rice were not up to the mark. Other items were delicious. Nice ambience. Overall satisfactory.

Excellent ambience and service. Went for lunch with friends. Since we knew nothing about Chinese cuisine, we asked the waitress for recommendations. They were all fabulous. Especially their signature summer mango dessert. Would recommend 10/10. For four people z our total bill was around 2500, it was value for money.

The ambience is cosy. The interior of the restaurant alongwith the music creates a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is courteous & delivers a prompt service. As far as the food is concerned the taste is good. We had ordered barbeque chicken as starter. The taste was a bit sweet but the chicken pieces were succulent & juicy. For the main course we had Rice with Asian Greens, Schezwan Veg Fried Rice, Wok Tossed Veg Hakka Noodles, Teriyaki Chicken & Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce. Rice with Asian Greens was light in taste & flavourful. Schezwan Veg Fried Rice was quite spicy but it had good taste. The Hakka Noodles was awesome. It had sufficient quantity of vegetables. The burnt flavour made it all the more delicious. Teriyaki chicken was sweet in taste. Chicken in hot garlic sauce was quite bland and was below average in taste.

Chowman on Sundays is definitely a busy place so we had to wait outside for few minutes and then entered.The ambience was good. Food was delicious. Chilli shrimps is a must try. But the waiters were in a hurry as the restaurant was crowdy then.

Wah! What a food! Chowman never disappoints. This time we ordered dry chilli pork from the starter section, chowman special rice, mixed fried rice and hot and sour fish (which is available in both bhetki and basa varient). Each food tasted simply amazing without any question. Special mention to the chowman special rice, which had a burst of flavours. The quality and the quantity is undoubtedly top notch. This outlet of chowman is located on B.T. Road, Panihati (opposite Arsalan).

Awesome experience. I had visited authentic Chinese food point first time with family. Starters and main course wonderful. My kid 5yrs and wife enjoy most. One portion is more than enough for two adult. I ware visited for lunch and it was weekdays so quit less crowded. Decoration was good. I must recommend to visit and I was interested to next visit.
