Beautiful place. We went there for a class picnic. Swimming in the cold waters of Pagladia river is fun, but be careful if you don't know how to swim. The current is very strong in the middle

It's was a wonderful experience, the view was really great and the river (pagladia) is very clear. Ample space for picnic, the Bhutan border is really close and there is a trail going towards it (do not go recommend). You can bath in the river and have some good time, about 3-4hrs drive from Guwahati city. The river flows from Bhutan and don't get tricked by the hilly terrain it's not a cold place, the temperature will be similar to Guwahati. You will finds temporary shops in the picnic shop where you will get from traditional clothing to every small house hold need item. Go there and have fun.
One of my favourite picnic spot. Beautiful landscaping view. During winter season people from so many places come here to spend some quality time with their friends as well as family.

It's a great place. Very peaceful and devout place. Only men wearing Dhuti, Gamucha and Cheleng Sadar are allowed to enter the Kirtan Ghar (main house of worship). No women are allowed to enter the main Kirtan Ghar.
