It is just another good View point after some off roading, both bikes and cars can reach here, you can park them anywhere after reaching at the top. You can sit and enjoy the views for sometime here, click the pictures with your friends, will suggest to visit this place, only when it's on your route for any other destination. Too much waste of time and energy, if you are coming to visit only this place, you will be surprised.
Very good for a generic picnic spot or a day outing. Best to visit on a rainy day as the scorching heat isn't very pleasant and the place offers no shade or shelter. But a very quite and calm place with much less crowd.
This place is just overrated. You can go here once, just to confirm that you don't have go there again. There is small off-road here, so if you want to experience little bit off-road, you can go with you bike. Don't keep big hope with this place. And then there are locals there, they will ask you some money. If you are not giving they will not leave your bike. Go early morning and return by 9AM. Otherwise keep some change money.
Honestly very disappointed after reach this place. Before going , there were lots of excitement and after reach this place , the excitement level became zero. You can see some mountains from this view point and one lake. You can sit there to enjoy this view. After half an hour , we will want to leave this place. If you plan to explore some new place and enjoy the whole day , then please think before come. If you want to chill for some time, then come. In this place , no shop or anything is there. Shops only in highways. For parking, no separate place. You can park your car or bike in any place. Thanks for reading.
Basically, it is an abandoned quarry that is filled with water now. Whoever named it Chota Ladakh, I guess he had never visited Ladakh. Overstated. Weekends, you can expect some crowd, mainly families and a few tiktokers. I saw a few locals trying to collect parking fees. Personally, I feel this place can be avoided.
A place to visit and relax if you love peace away from the city hustle bustle. Visited this place unexpectedly on the way to Kolar. Beware of the locals who try to make some money off u. Smile, play a bit with the children and speak something in kannada and they will leave you alone
An offbeat place, without any directions, had to search for the locals and ask them for help to getting to the quarry. If youare up for a quick adventure like us, it will be fun. We went early for sunrise, unfortunately couldn't see it because of the clouds. The water also did seem a bit dirty and stagnant. Hardly any people were there on Sunday Morning, 2 groups of bikers arrived after us. Pretty much left to nature, hardly any human intervention, we luckily found a lotus pond.
I visited this place after 2 years and it's still the same. 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers can go easily. No tickets and no parking charges required. Could be parked anywhere on the top safely.
This place is situated at Kendatti, near Kolar, a little further away from Narsapura. Cross the KR puram bridge and take the Bangalore -Tirupathi highway. The road is absolutely well maintained with multiple lanes. Do watch your speeds because I saw
